4/21/2004 1. I know you are working on memorization. I won't harp this time. 2. Be careful not to turn your back to the audience. 3. Hurry out after "tea things." You guys moved a bit too slowly on that one. 4. Speak up when clearing the table. It got hard to hear you over the china. 5. Much better on entrences and exits. 6. Watch your diction. There were times I had a hard time understanding you. 7. Keep the Gibbs scene moving. Remember to keep your own little world over there going when Mortimer is on the phone. 8. Look over blocking for Act III. 9. Best performance yet!!!:)

4/19/2004 1. You are doing much better with memorization, but it still needs some work. 2. Move quickly on and off stage. You have a reason for comming or going, so get there quickly to do it. 3. Stay in character whatever happens. If you are in character completely from the begining, this will be easier. 4. Keep the scenes moving quickly. Don't leave any space between someone else's line and yours. 5. Don't be intimidated by Mr. Gibbs. That's not Mr. Walsh up there. 6. Know your entrences and exits. 7. Don't let yourself be upstaged. If someone is standing in front of you, move. 8. Lose the "gasp" when Jonathan mentions the lace collar. It just doesn't fit. 9. Be careful not to lose your volume. It isn't always a problem, but there are times that I can't hear you. 10. Be careful not to give away that Jonathan and Einstein are about to come through the window. As far as you know, all that is happening is that you are getting a peek of Mr. Hoskins.

4/16/2004 1. Today went much better. I deffinately saw an improvement with the whole staying in character thing. 2. Work on volume. There were times today that I had a very difficult time hearing you. 3. Check out the blocking for act III.

4/14/2004 1. Memorization was a serious issue. I have given you more time and been more patient with you than anyone else. I know you have extenuating cercumstances, but I spoke to you about that early on. You assured me that you would be able to keep up. It isn't fair to anyone else or you to let you keep doing this. I expect everything to be memorized from now on. I've tried to be nice, but that isn't working. I know that you are a talented girl. I was warned in the begining that giving you a leading role might be a bad idea. I said you'd step up if someone believed in you. Don't prove me wrong. 2. Volume was an issue today as well. I could barely hear most of your lines. I know you can speak up. You usually do well in this area. Pay more attention to it next time. 3. Don't start giggling every time something unexpected happens onstage. Unexpected things will happen in every performance. They always do. You have to stay in character and push on through. 4. If you happen to forget a line, make it up. You know where the script is going by now. You know the basics of the scene. The audience doesn't have a script. 5. Give me more energy. You usually are pretty good on this one, but today was seriously lacking. Let me see the sparkle that made me give you this role. There's a reason I cast you in a role that is onstage for nearly the entire play. 6. Let the character be onstage the entire time you are onstage. I continually saw you head out the kitchen door instead of Martha.
