4/21/2004 1. Much better on tempo and memorization. This was your best performance yet by far:) 2. Great on the knock out! That is exactly what I wanted:) 3. Make sure you keep Jonathan facing outward when you are holding him in Act III.

4/19/2004 1. Memorization was much better. Thank you. 2. Don't wait on Teddy to yell "CHARGE!!! " before you say your line in the conversation with Klein and Harper. That is something that is supposed to just be backgroud noise to you. You are used to hearing it. It doesn't even register. 3. Keep the scene moving quickly. Don't be afraid to jump on the line ahead of you. This dialog has to move quickly to keep its humor. 4. Put more energy into it. If you are excited, it will give your character energy. Let yourself get into the warmups and have fun with them. That will help more than you think.

4/16/2004 1. Volume was a bit of an issue. I could hear you, but I had to strain to understand you. 2. Energy was a bit better, but it was still lacking. Let the humanity come through. 3. Blocking was obviously a problem, but I think that had as much to do with Twan doing the other cop role as anything. Nontheless, check the blocking on act III.

4/14/2004 1.Memorization was a problem, obviously. I won't harp on that anymore at the moment, but I expect it to be fixed quickly. 2. Volume was a bit of an issue. If I can't hear you, it doesn't matter how well you deliver the line. 3. Energy was seriously lacking. This play is hillarious if it's delivered with engergy, but it's just plain borring without it. Find that part of you that gets excited about things, and let it come out onstage. 4. Don't ever turn your back or the back of your head to the audience. It makes it harder to hear you, and it's just annoying to watch the back of an actor's head.
