The Wellsboro Diner, located on Main Street in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, first opened in April, 1939, as
Schanaker�s Diner.
Sometime in the 1960�s,
it became the Wellsboro Diner, a Sterling Diner (J. B. Judkins Co. of Merrimac,
Mass.) for those who know anything about diner manufacturers (and you probably
do, or you wouldn�t even be interested in this web site!). It was car number
388 (or the 8th diner car of 1938).

"sterling dining room" in the building that is now attached,
completed in April, 1994.
