Kentucky Warbler Riparian woodlands with dense undergrowth. Nest in shrubby woodlands on hillsides and in brush floodplains, especially near white oak swamps 6/9, 6/11, 6/29(a) McClaughry Springs, park at 40-Acre Woods on the south side of 119th, east of LaGrange Rd. On the west side is a gravel trail that crosses 119th. Follow that trail north of 119th until it joins with the main east-west trail a couple of hundred yards from 119th. The bird was singing persistently west of that trail very near the junction

Access to this area is via a bike trail that can be reached from along 107th just west of the eastern of the two western Saganashkee Slough access areas or from a pullout, with a map of Palos, west of Saganashkee Slough about 500 yards.
