As a flautist I have regularly been performing with various well known� jazz groups,new music ensembles,symphony orchestras,pop artists and groups and non-Western music groups, both as a band member and as a guest in the UK and different parts of the world.
I studied flute at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Kathryn Lukas, Philippa Davies, Peter Lloyd and participated in master classes given by the late Geoffrey Gilbert.  I studied jazz with the late Lionel Grigson.
I am a professor at both the Trinity College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I have given consultations, workshops or coached at the Trinity College of Music, York and Durham Universities as well as The Centre for Young Musicians, Morley College.

COMPOSITION

I often compose and arrange music in many different genres and parts of the world� for various groups,ensembles and orchestras,and have also written music for the BBC in England.
Commissions have included compositions� for the prominent UK percussion quartet "Ensemble Bash", who toured parts of the UK with my work "Always on my mind",and� for the adventurous ensemble" New Music Players",who premiered my work "Timeless Odyssey" at the Dartington International Summer Festival.
