Harold
and Ariel, a long-time Rondalla On Wheels friend, share a quiet moment
together. Azuma Village, Gunma.
In
between performances are periods of quiet, unhurried reflections and intimate
conversations. Harold talks about his family, about his passion for boxing,
and how his right leg had to be amputated: after a bad fall that injured
his leg, he had to rely on the local healers for treatment. By the time
professional doctors found out that his leg was severely infected—most
likely of gangrene—they had to amputate it to save his life.
