Rondalla On Wheels performing inside Saint Ignacius Church. Yotsuya, Tokyo.

In the same way that their music helped them overcome their handicaps, Rondalla On Wheels’ music bridges the huge chasm of Philippine and Japanese cultures. Years from now, when people from all the venues that the Rondalla On Wheels played have forgotten all the speeches that were read, they’ll probably still remember about the ten young men and women who played lively music, and made them rethink, in different ways, their view of handicapped people, of music, of people of different cultures, of the purpose of living.
