Flashligth 2: Mario Birthday Card

Project Plan

For my project, I created a greeting card for my brother�s birthday in June. The theme is Nintendo Mario and Yoshi. As Mario jumps through the screen he hits the question marks, which spell out: Happy Birthday David.

• Text Box - There are three text boxes: Happy, Birthday, and David
• Shapes created in Flash - I created the moon, sun, yoshi egg, question boxes, cloud, and grass.
• Graphic from somewhere else - Mario and Yoshi are graphics from elsewhere.
• Motion Tween - The cloud and Mario are motion tweens.
• Shape tween - The moon changes shape into the sun when it is behind the cloud. The egg changes into yoshi. The blocks change into text. The moon is the only shape that really morphs into something else.
• Motion guide - I used the motion guide on Mario as he goes across the screen.
