Arts in Anglespur Schola
The Shire of Anglespur is pleased to present its Arts in Anglespur Schola. Come one, come all to learn about the arts and sciences of the Middle Ages.

Athena's Thimble.
the East Kingdom's  embroidery guild.  Meetings and gatherings are also planned by the Worshipful Company of Narroworkers and by Athena's Thimble. You don't need to be a member of either of these guilds to attend.

The cost of the event is $10.00 for adult members and $7.00 for children under 12.  The site fee includes a substantial day board.   If you have any questions, please contact the autocrat, Lady Rowan de Beauchamp (Jessica Litwin)  at

Please note that smoking is not permitted on school grounds.  The site is dry.

Directions on making Viking knitted chain.  There will be  lots of time to try your hands at making the chain, including pulling it through a draw plate.  Class will be able to view photos of a piece that is in the British Museum.

All are welcome to attend the meeting of Athena's Thimble, East Kingdom Embroidery Guild for paneling and a discussion of embroidery.

Ever wonder what the heck is the deal with all those medallions you see people wearing?  If so, this is the class for you!  We'll cover all the awards given in the East KIngdom, including the associated titles and what shiny objects recipients get to wear.

Learn how to create a simple, paste-free Ethiopian binding for a blank book (plain wooden cover).
