Holiday Party Mix
This recipe was donated by Kimm. It is handy to have around for guests or when you are decorating the tree.
Ingredients
MOIST ----- 6 tbsp melted butter
4 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp seasoned salt
DRY --- 2 cups Quaker Oat Squares
2 cups Crispix cereal
2 cups Double Chex cereal
1 cup Wheat Chex cereal
1 cup small bow-tie pretzels
3/4 cup salted peanuts
Measure the moist ingredients and put together. On the stovetop, in a small saucepan, melt the moist ingredients on LOW heat (do not allow butter to "burn"). Or, if you use a microwave, use the recommended setting for melting butter or the lowest setting available.
Measure the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Pour melted butter mixture evenly over the dry ingredients. Mix well until dry ingredients are evenly coated with butter mixture. Put cereal mix into a 9 x 13 pan.
Bake 45 minutes at 250 degrees. Check every 15 minutes during baking time, stirring mix. Spread on paper towels to cool.
