Witches are Crafty People

Some of these are Pagan crafts some are just pretty things for your home.

Jar of lights
Clear jar(canning jar or larger)
Your choice of dried herbs or potpourri
Small set of clear miniture lights
Piece of 4"-6" fabric(your choice of pattern) to cover top.
Ribbon, raffia, yarn or string

Place in enough herbs/potpourri to cover the bottom of jar
Arrange a section of the lights in a circle.
Continue layering the lights and herbs/potpourri until the jar is full
The end effect should be that the lights shine thru the mixture.
Place fabric on top of jar so that you have about 2 inches drapped past the mouth of the jar.
Secure the fabric with ribbon, raffia, ect.
Make sure you leave the tail end of the lights out of the jar to be plugged up.
*****Do not leave unattended or on for extended periods of time*****

Frosted Holly Leaves
Choose the nice stems and leaves of the holly, and wipe them with a clean dry cloth. Dry them thoroughly but do not allow to shrival. Dip the edges of the leaf in thin clear glue, then sprinkle with course sugar. Leave to dry in a warm place.

Herb Pillows
Choose a tightly woven fabric that will not allow the herbs to sift through. Cut into 3" squares for tiny pillows and 6" for larger pillows.
Sew together 3 sides, leaving one end open for stuffing with herb mixture.
