Here are The pictures from the swap:

Left rear quarter shot of Corvette split bumper

Engine from left side

Notice amount of space in front of strut towers, and how 80% of the engine is behind the front stuts. In a 240sx swap for the RB, nearly 80% of the motor is In front of the strut towers.

drivers side engine mount,(made by Brad D-$100 for the set))

pass side front engine

clearance to the firewall from back of engine

Clearance from the rear turbo to the steering rack. The engine mounts are not currently tightened down as I am waiting for an oil pan and will have to lift the motor again. As such, the coolant return line just hits the steering column as the bolt rotates around,(you can see some slight silvering where it touches). Very minor and easy to fix. The lines bend very easy, and I may have slightly bent it out when I moved the motor in and out.

clearance from the rear turbo downpipe to the stock brake block on the firewall,(I think that is the proportioning valve). Plenty of room

A quick view of the stock RB26 wiring harness that I have split apart. I will first try to get the car running with the stock ECU. The aftermarket ECU will come later after I work some basic driveability bugs from the car,(suspension, brakes, drivetrain, etc..) Not that fun...
