Beginning in 2006, Routers of Peace hopes to award an annual educational scholarship to a youth showing some exceptional ability, academic excellence, motivation and promise, who may not otherwise have the opportunity to continue their education. Youths will be identified through their work with Routers of Peace while fulfilling some of their 40 mandatory high school hours of voluteer service in the community. The required scholarship funds of $4,000 to $5,000 will be rised through Routers of Peace own fundraising efforts |
