On the New York border between the Chemung and Susquehanna rivers. Five small towns, Waverly, NY., South Waverly, Pa., (no that's not a typo) Athens, Pa., Athens Township, Pa., and at the heart of it all is Sayre. A rail road community. The locals call it THE VALLY.. Views of the valley can be found HERE. Friends and Folks from around the area are HERE, and If you are interested, here is a link to all of PENNSYLVANIA. I now live in Culpeper, VA.

Born in this small town back in 1956. I am the son of a coal miners daughter. No she aint the one from Butcher Holler. My roots grow on both sides of the fence with my father's side from England and my mother's side from Ireland. A mix of the orange and the green.

I have an older sister, two older brothers, a younger brother and a younger half brother. The oldest brother passed away from cancer; God rests his soul. The ironic part is, that before my brother was diagnosed with cancer, he hosted variety benefit shows for a local boy who was diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately he passed away also. Now there is a commemorative run in his name to help fight cancer. The Dave Smith Run is an annual event. Pleas check it out.
