THE FARCE OF THE WORTHY MASTER PIERRE PATELIN
Pierre Patelin sets out to by some silk for his wife Guilliame from the roguish Draper. He does not pay any money for the silk but invites the Draper round to his house for wine and chicken. When the Draper comes round for dinner, Pierre pretends to be mad and chases the Draper round the stage backwards. The Draper falls in the trapdoor and shorts the lights, causing much confusion.
