Rules and How to Play, plus some rough guildlines .

*YOU MUST KEEP TRACK OF ALL THE moves/ranks/items/auras/curses YOUR CHARACTER LEARNS YOURSELF. THE OWNER CANNOT KEEP TRACK FOR YOU.*

General

  • *NEW RULE* If you are just joining, and you see an inactive character, you may ask (IN THEIR TERRITORY) if you can play their character. Unless they posted in the absent board. If they do not respond within a week, you may play their character!! BUT, If they come back and say they want their character back you will HAVE to give it back.
  • For every person you can get to join, (have them include your character's name in the joining post) you can get a special power/aura/etc! Just make sure it's willingly! ;)
  • Any ages/levels may join, but if you are young stay out of the breeding board and keep in mind mild swearing is allowed. Also this is focused for ages 13 and up as well as advanced/intermediate players. Territories
  • Now*IF YOU WANT TO BE A LEADER----*:If you want to be the leader of your realm and there is none, you must audition. It's first come, first serve. The maximum amount of people allowed in a territory/in a realm before somebody else makes one is 20. And, if it does reach 20, the wanted lead must have two supporters. Another thing is, you must make your own board.
  • Any male or female may own a terra. None of the females leave, but the male lead may kick any males out.(this concerns those of the more equine species)
  • If the herd does not want the male in there, the lead femme must battle him.
  • Ranks of your powers also serve as the ranks in your territories. You will know what your rank is.
  • Territories can be allied or have enimies.
  • One terra can compete with another to be stronger, or unclaimable, or have lots of members, etc. In fact that's encouraged, it makes the game fun!
  • Leaders may invite males into the herd but they can be kicked out. If a leader tells a male to get out, he must get out. ((concerns mostly equines, but if somebody tells you to get out that's a lead..YOU LISTEN!))

  • Your character should age between once a month to however. Death does happen, unless you can discover some special gift, I wonder if there is one?
  • You can't use another characters name or photo, let them know on the joining board if the name is already taken.
  • Markings are forbidden, only those of honor are allowed markings. However, they can have any feature. For example, some people believe unicorns have a tail of a lion. Others think it is a regular horse tail. It doesn't matter. Another example would be horns on dragons, some people prefer they do not have horns.
  • Unipegs, or pegacorns, (winged & horned equines) cannot join, but you can ask for permission from either Blizzard or Grim.
  • BATTLES Each move causes minus health points..
  • Each character gets 3 posts.
  • The first post the challenger gets 3 attacks. The last post the challengee gets two defenses. It will be judged by spelling, grammar, realism, creativity, imagery, activity, anatomy, new ideas, and thats about it.
  • BOTH PLAYERS IN THE FIRST POST MUST PUT THEIR RANK IN. That way the battle points can be determined. 2 attacks and one defense in all posts, (EXCEPT FIRST AND LAST.)
  • You can battle with any other species and any other rank. Any of the leaders may be challenged for fun, or anything except territory, territory members, and you can't challenge for dominence or leadership because its determined by ranks.
  • If you are battling a god/GRIM/Blizzard/any other odd creature Grim thinks up, they can powerplay, but you can't (they will be fair, however)
  • You can make up your own defenses. You learn battle attacks, not defenses.
  • You may challenge ANY particular individual for fun, they can decline the first 3 times, after that they must accept a challenge from that person.
  • Stealing -You may steal , read the rules on that message board before proceeding.
  • After 1 week, the leader, Monarch for the realm, those of the three highest positions, or their mate may challenge back for them.
  • If the other stallion wants her to, a female must breed with them.
  • If they catch you in less than 2 days then the stealer doesn't get her.
  • Beware of vampires/godly creatures. They steal, kill, injure, and just cause trouble.
  • Unicorns, dragons, witches, etc are not enemies but on the other hand aren't allies. That is why its been so easy for the vampires and demons to pick off their numbers.

    Breeding

  • You can breed with others even if you have a mate. Or stay "faithful" it doesn't matter.
  • The leaders may breed with anyone in the harem.
  • Lower rank males can breed with those of their rank and lower. (Except for pegasus, a female breeds with her rank and higher.)
  • Long or short breeds, a coin is flipped to see if it is successful. There are no breeding seasons.
  • Femmes must report to the birthing grounds when ready for labor. You will be given the date.
  • Dragons have eggs, however most are stolen or do not survive, pegasus have normally one babe that rises from the ocean under the moonlight, and swims to lands. Unicorns give birth and have one baby. However you will be told in the breeding board when and how many.

    Fun Stuff!

  • Auras are special "vibes" that you can be awarded. They are honorable and you should mention them everytime you post to another character. There are many different kinds of auras. When you talk to someone, they will get a strong feeling of maybe, Beauty(If you have the Aura of Beauty, lets say.) The number of auras and what kinds they are, is unknown. Auras can't be stolen.
  • Amulets are very good items to have, they stay with your harem. You may decide to hide them in a safe spot. Their purpose is, every time your herd recieves an amulet, it gets harder for the harem to be taken away from the lead male. If you get 4 amulets, your territory is unclaimable. That means, no one can challenge for the territory. However, they CAN be stolen. Just email me to tell me where you are hiding the amulets in your territory, using the rocks or water that comes with the description of the territory. The only way they can be stolen is if someone finds out where they are hidden. The leader may want to keep it to himself where they are hidden. It is all up to you. This goes for all species.
  • Items are available and will aid you in battle. You must win them somehow *HINT*quests, adventures.
  • Curses are something to make the game more interesting. What happens is, you may win or find something called a curse. There are two types of curses: One kind can be cast over a territory, and can effect everyone living there. The second password is mood ring. Another kind can just be cast over an individual, making them miserable. Depending on the curse, they may either wear off after time or the victim will have to find the countercurse.
  • Pegasus
  • Leaders:Queen Atilia
  • Pegasus mares breed with stallions of their rank and above only.
  • Stallions may try to breed with any ranks.
  • Force breeding is allowed, but if you force breed a higher level mare, she can attack you with powerful and violent attacks.
  • When pegasus are born, they rise from the sea.
  • Evils are allowed, and they are black in color for their whole life.
  • The pegasus's source of magic is: Their feathers
  • Unis and Pegs do not have to hunt for food, they are herbivores. password for pegasus is moonlight.
  • If food is not available in a territory, they will have to move to the water hole for a short period of time.
  • The sounds produced: Echoing high and low pitched noises, much like humpback whales.



    Unicorns

  • There is of current time, no leader for the Unicorns.
  • Evils are allowed, and they are black in color for their whole life.(unless they don't wanna be)They can be secretly or oenly allied with the vamps/demons.
  • The unicorn's source of magic is: Their horn
  • The sounds produced: musical notes of violins, trumpets, harps, and flutes.
  • Unicorns can be any color, however, no markings are allowed (if you want one, get permission).
  • Unis and Pegs do not have to hunt for food, they are herbivores, however food might get wiped out, and they MUST go to the water hole to drink every so often.
  • If food is not available in a territory, they will have to move to the water hole for a short period of time. password for unicorn species is buck.
  • Males usually have longer horns than females

    Dragons
  • Dragons are carnivorous(meat eaters) so therefore they must hunt for their food in the hunting grounds. It is up to the leader who does this, maybe it might be someone's chore to do that, or you guys take turns, its up to you. password for dragon species is charme.
  • The dragon's source of magic is: Their scales
  • The sounds produced: Squeaks, whistles, hisses, growls, shrieks
  • Colors of the dragons:all-be imaginative
  • Evils can be allied with the Vamps &co. secretly or openly.


    Fairies
  • There is, of present time, no ruler for the fairies.
  • Fairies can have any markings or features- from dragonfly wings to butterfly wings, I don't care
  • Their source of magic varies.
  • They eat flowers, mushrooms, etc. they can be carnivorous-pass is twinkle star

    Centaurs
  • Leaders:Queen Sandrilene fa Toren
  • Centaurs can have any features, but markings are for those of honor (like lightning stripes down side, etc., a white hock isn't a "marking"
  • Their source of magic is their hooves
  • Their sounds are the english human language
  • They eat flowers, mushrooms, etc. they are not carnivorous-pass is drum
  • Don't get pics of them like wearing long jackets or whatever, a bikini top is suffecient, it just looks strange, and its not realistic, if you read the story, they were trying to escape from the humans.
  • They can breed only with their own species, humans, and equines.

    Unipeg
  • Leader Unipeg: none
  • You cannot join as a unipeg. They must be born (Or you must get permission). One species can breed with another and breed from the same species.
  • Sounds: Can produce either musical notes or echoing whale notes
  • Magic: Horn
  • No password

    Mermaids

  • There is no rule at this time.
  • Mermaids live in the sea, they can't go on land
  • Sounds: Dolphin whistles and squeaks
  • Magic: from a necklace each is born with
  • They can have any colors or markings, females and males, pretty much the same as everyone else. pass is bubblex

    Angels, Wizards, Witches, Shapeshifters, Vampires, demons

  • Vampire Lead=Queen Chazi
  • Sounds: English, foreign language.
  • Magic: Staff, self, etc.
  • There are currently no leaders, password is F.antas.y
