Sometimes they do hand out some clothes,blankets and sleeping bags at the food handouts but this is now becoming more and more rare.
We recomend that you go to one of the Day Centres (listed in the links on the right) and ask staff (nicely) to give you some clothes and whatever else you might need.
They are normally very helpful.
Some Day Centres charge a nominal fee for clothes (5-95 pence) but most are free.
For sleeping bags we suggest that you make a visit to your local Salvation Army office, they normally give out blankets and sleeping bags free of charge.
