| Homeless Persons' Units in London (HPU) |
| Homeless Persons' Units deal with 'priority homeless' people. People whom the law considers 'priority homeless' include pregnant women, people with dependent children, people aged over 60 years, or those in some way physically or mentally vulnerable. If you think you may be a priority homeless person, go to your nearest Homeless Persons' Unit and present yourself - any day centre or advice centre will help you. You may be offered a bed and breakfast hotel or a hostel place until a more permanent solution is found. If you are not considered priority homeless the HPU will provide you with a list of hostels and private accommodation in the area. |
