DEHYDRATION SETTING IN
Over at the Bronx Tribe, the sun arose for the tribe's 16th day of competition. January's sickness continued to be an issue as she found herself on her hands and knees trying not to vomit. Many woke quickly and rushed to her aid, but she would tell them that she is okay, just really thirsty. Leigh looked in the water container only to find nothing. Roy and Naomi complained that they barely drank anything for two days. Feeling that the water situation was going to leave the tribe in dire straits. Seth took the long walk to the tribe's water source, a water fountain at the side of a building, and filled up cup after cup and carried the makeshift canteens back to camp. Where January and the rest of the tribe drank their share for the day.
SETH ANGERMILL -- Manicurist: "This game is rough on everybody. My throat is so parched right now, because of the lack of water our bodies are consuming each day. And January was dry heaving, the water helped her get back to working hard, so water is the key to life here."
LACK OF PULLING WEIGHT
Even with water in their systems it became evidently clear to Jacob, Seth, and Naomi that Leigh and Roy do the least amount of work for the tribe. As they were doing thier chores, they'd watch Roy sleeping and resting on the couch and Leigh daydreaming. Some chuckled while others just were frustrated.
JACOB COLLINS -- History Professor: "Roy and Leigh have to be the laziest people in this entire game. Roy sits there all the time and does nothing and I have yet to figure out what Leigh does. It almost seems like she is doing math problems all the time in her head." |
