ROUGHIN' IT: NEW YORK CITY
EPISODE 3
GETTING TO KNOW YOU

To celebrate to coming of new tribemates, the members of the Bronx Tribe went straight from the challenge to the soup kitchen. With the members having only eaten food thrown away by others, the tribe was really hungry. They smiled as they were given bowls of soup. January smiled and asked Seth and Danielle S. to tell a little about themselves. Danielle went first by talking about her parents doubted her success in the game, because of her shyness and quietness. They conversations brewed over this for a while, then it was Seth's turn. Seth was very proud to be the first openly gay competitor on Roughin' It and then began talking about charities he and his boyfriend help out with. After his introduction, Micha rose his bowl of soup into the air and proposed a toast to a whole new Bronx. The tribe clanked their bowls together and smiled.

DANIELLE SOUTHAND -- Landscape Artist: "It was really nice to enter in a tribe that welcomed me and Seth with open arms. I still don't trust them, but for now, it's going to be a sweet group to be a part of."

DANIELLE PHILIPS -- Secretary: "Yeah, it's cool to have new faces in the crowd. The other Danielle doesn't give herself enough credit at times, because at the challenge...she was thinking outside the box by trying to see what others were doing, so her tribe could capitalize on that. I like her...and Seth too. But, when we have to go to Tribal Council. I have no problem taking them out first."

KEEPING IT TOGETHER

Back at the Queens campsite, with the absence of Donald and Naomi, Robin called the original five members of Queens together for a quick meeting. She told them that now is the opportunity to put Leigh's plans into play and stay together in a tight alliance. Robin also added that she doesn't trust or Naomi and they seem to be the type to do anything to keep themselves within the competition, so the tribe shouldn't interact with the two of them for as long as they are a part of the tribe. The five put shook hands and declared that they won't vote for each other yet.

ROBIN SHUBERT -- Dance Choreographer: "We need to put Leigh's plan of a five-person alliance into play right now. We have two people who don't belong on this tribe, that we had to take with us anyway. Also, I don't want people to get attatched to them, cause we need all five of us to vote together to make this work."
