ROUGHIN' IT: NEW YORK CITY
EPISODE 2
ENJOYING THE SPOILS OF VICTORY

After winning the physically demanding reward challenge, the Queens Tribe decided to get dried off, get clothes on, and follow the map the soup kitchen. They screamed and shrieked like children at Christams Time when they smelled the soup. They raced in line to grab a bowl and get served. As the smiling women poured soup into their bowls, the tribe smiled back and replied with polite thank yous and took a seat around a table. They were surrounded by other homeless individuals were delighting in the tribe's company. The tribe talked with the others and learned valuable information about living in the streets. In exchange, Roy and Adam told stories of what happened so far. The whole room was filled with laughter, enjoyment, and soup.

ROY NICELY -- Auto Mechanic: "We kicked some *ss in that challenge today. Robin and Leigh swam really well for us, Adam was a gambler and half-fish as he had to be under that water for like a minute or so getting that tire. But he won it for us, if I say so myself. But, the reward was wonderful. The tribe learned a lot from each other and the other homeless people in the room and only one word could describe that soup...WOOOWEEE!"

FOOD POISIONING

While Queens was enjoying the reward, Bronx decided to have hot oatmeal (which was thrown away by someone and in a trash can) to get food into their bodies and warm themselves up from a wet challenge that they competed in. As the sun fell, it became evident that January wasn't well. Numerous times, she had to a nearby trash can and vomit. Luckily, the tribe had a doctor on the team and was there to help her out. Micha diagnosed her with food poisioning and told her to lie down and told the tribe to make sure there is enough water in the tribe's water jug, so that January can get enough fluids. January nearly cried as she thought that her dreams of winning a million dollars were going down the tubes because of the illness.

MICHA HILL -- Doctor: "I'm a doctor and I see this pretty much everyday in my profession. January had eaten something that wasn't meant to be eaten and she developed food poisioning. She is a little lucky that we are still immune as a Tribe for a few more days, which gives her enough time to get better. In the mean time, all she can do is try to get rest and drink water. It's going to be a long few days for all of us to make sure she gets healthy again."
