We're back together!! Sorta!? I think? For Valentine's Day apparantly. w00t!
Well...we broke up...how's that for news? we had our last performance at the Blue Dragon with a swell turn out.
Rough Draft successfully rewrote parts of the "Wheels of a Dream" arrangement with the help of Tom Mullen and Matt Vaive, and performed it at the talent show.
The quartet will all be at this year's Youth Harmony Camp, and maybe performing either as a quartet, or as part of the DCC.
Monday May 17th Rough Draft performed "You'll Never Walk Alone" in Sandia's Photo class for Ivan's slideshow presentation. It went very well, and Ivan got an A+!
David and Ivan switched voice parts!!! For those of you hardcore fans of Rough Draft, you'll notice that Ivan is now singing Bass, and David singing Baritone. We made this switch...well...basically because David is a better Baritone and Ivan is a better Bass, and that's where their voices belong.
We're beginning work on a ballad "You'll Never Walk Alone"
We had a performance Tuesday March 30, 2004 at Sandia Prep along with Sandia High School's Continentals. Lots of fun.
We plan to record songs and tags as we get better at them, and we'll be sure to post them ASAP!
Thursday, March 18, 2004, we performed "Sittin on Top of the World" at Sandia High School's talent assembly.
We woodsheded "Wheels of a Dream" and we continue to sing "Sittin' on Top of the World" "Under the Boardwalk" and occasionally "Prayer of the Children".
We also sing many tags, including "Shadow of Your Smile" "It's Only Words" "Falling Leaves" "Hello" "Over the Rainbow" and many more.
