| OK, it all started in September 2003. Colin and Chan decided to start a band, all we needed was a bassist and a singer. Thats where Mike and Carlos came in. Were started practicing and writing songs and things just clicked!!! We played our first real gig at the Che Cafe in january of 04.Later on Mike quit the band on a count of we offered him a raisen cookie. After that we had met a kid by the name of Sam, and this be the beginning of Rigamortis Tortus!We played a show with Sam at open mic (damn them) and after getting banned,we realized Sam was the man for the job. After practicing with sam for a couple months, we recorded a six song demo in june of 04. We have played with such acts as Thought Riot, Gluttony, Alpha Males, Disabled Youth and some more! Our main influencesare:Germs,Crass,Conflict,Rudimentary Peni, Filth, Blatz, Oxymoron, Oi Polloi, Capitalist Casualties, AGT, SUB HUM ANS, Zounds, The Adicts, Reagan Youth, Aus-Rotten, J.F.A., Wasted Youth, Circle Jerks, Clit 45, The Voids, Resist and Exist, Flies and Lice, Grimple, DIRT,A.P.P.L.E., Nausea, Flux of Pink Indians, Doom, Crucifix, Disrupt, Final Conflict, Antisect,Civil Disobedience, and some more i guess. -Colin! |
