why are you perfection
the only thing thats real
the only one that I could ever love
or need in my heart.
The only person upon that pedestal
that Ive set so high.
Why are you the only person I crave
I crave the need to be near
though we are always so far away
and I can never reach out my hands
stretch out my fingers
and claw at the bubble
around your sleeping body.
Why are you the vision of the world
if the world was at peace
if there was no war,
no imperfections scraping the surface.
Why are you the only thing
I consider real
