Deep Red

The fear implodes,
Bursting away into the emptiness
of the night.
Ripping at the pain
with the fragments that fall,
lashing and whipping
at every passer by.
The sickening feeling
stretches its long
tearful legs, and walks
faster then ever
into the silence that is laid before us,
as a single finger is placed
upon my skin.
The brushing of a cool voice,
like the whispers of the stars
floating away into the moonlight
and the sorrow
pulls off into the sunset,
returning only when the night begins to fall.
A burning kiss
so bitter sweet
taints my lips, from pretty pink
to the deep red
full of passion
full of wanting
craving.
A hand now,
resting on my neck,
as I can feel the world spinning
floating away with the clouds
Holiding the laughter of children
playing and rushing around
and the sweet caress of a lover
once the child is comming of age.
Soon the vison departs
and the blinding starvation
floods back in the tears
and anger of those you love
of those you need to have.
The dying of the queen rose
Its petals still held high
wilting away upon the winter breeze.
I now know
suddenly from the black of the sun
It was all a dream
a fantasy,
for all my passion
is left unforfilled
Because there is no way in the heavens
