I helped Jonathan sit down on the lounge as I walked around grabbing my stuff. When I had finished, I then offered my hand to Jonathan. He took it and I then helped him get back up again. We both started to then make our way to my place. Total silence was between us as we walked along the pathway. The sounds of passing cars and the cold breeze blowing were all that were heard.

The question of 'Where did he work?' burned inside of me. So when my house came into our view I decided to ask him. "Hey Jonathan?" I started. He acknowledge me speaking to him by looking at me. "Where do you work?" I finally asked him. He didn't answer until we were walking up my driveway. "At the morgue," he said. I stopped in my tracks and so did he, since I had my arm around him.

"What? You're kidding right?" I asked him as I removed my arm. "Why would I kid you about it? It's true," he said bluntly to me and continued to walk towards the front door of my house. Seeing that THAT was all he was going to say about it, I followed him. My house was one of those that looked like every other house along the street. The only way of telling that this one was my home was the number plastered on the letterbox.

Jonathan waited for me to open the door for him when he reached it. When I had made my way to it, I grabbed Jonathan by the hand and whispered in his ear, "Follow me." He did exactly this and we walked back down the stairs and stopped. "Where are we going?" he asked, scratching his head. I didn't say anything but quietly giggled and started to climbed the piping on the wall closest to me. When I reached the roof, I heard Jonathan not too far behind me. So I kept on going with what I was going to do.

I walked over to the opposite side of the house and then started to climbed down. This is the side in which my room was. When I reached my window, I climbed in and waited for Jonathan. Moments later, he was in. "Don't be alarmed. This is just the mess in which I call my room," I explained to Jonathan with a bit of a giggle. He laughed back and sat on my queen size bed.

"Would you mind if I had a shower? I won't be long," I asked Jonathan who I saw secretly smirk and then nodded his head. "Ok, I'll be back," I said as I grabbed my shower bag with things in it like body wash. But as I opened my door to leave, Jonathan asked me something. "Why did we use the escape route to get inside of your house?"

With a laugh, I turned around and shut the door so that no one out of the room could hear me. "Well you see, if my mum saw you, she would instantly think something was going on between us," blushing as I said that. I was thankful that the lights were off so that Jonathan couldn't see me blush and I walked out of the room to have my shower.

Half an hour later when I returned back to my room, Jonathan had pulled out the spare mattress I had incase I had visitors over for the night and was laying down on it, looking at the ceiling until he heard me enter the room. "Oh, Veruca. You don't mind that I got the mattress out?" he said politely. "No, it's fine," I replied and placed my shower bag in my wardrobe. I felt nice and cosy in my winter pj's cause it was freezing! I brought my hands up underneath my arms to keep warm. "Aren't you cold?" I asked Jonathan who was deep in thought. "What? Oh, nah. I'm right. Do you want me to close the window now that were inside? (Laughs) Unless you feel like escaping any time soon," he said.

I laughed as I hoped in to bed. "If you don't mind. Could you close the window. My adventures are over for the night," I said as I made myself comfy. Jonathan stood up and walked over to the window to close it. After he had, I didn't hear him lay back down. Curious, I turned to see what he was doing. Jonathan was staring at me in fasination. "Are you alright?" I asked him as I sat up. Straight away I thought he was going to turn around in embarassment and lay back down, but he didn't. He started to come closer to me. Walking down the side of the bed in which I was on, he didn't talk or take his eyes away from mine.

"Jonathan?" I whispered. "Would you mind if I kissed you?" he said straight to the point. By now, he was sitting right next to me and I was completely speechless. I had never been kissed before, so this question made me panic a little. All I did was smile. I was so amazed that someone WANTED to kiss me, and not having to kiss me like parents do. "Well I'll guess I'll take that as a yes then," Jonathan said before kissing my lips softly.

He didn't kiss me for long though. Jonathan pulled away slowly as he reopened his eyes and looked at me. 'I so have a crush on Jonathan. But that's crazy! I've only known him for less than a day!' I thought to myself. "Are you okay?" Jonathan asked me. "Yeah, yeah. It's just..." I started. "Was that your first?" he said with a smile and placed his hand on mine. Blushing yet again I whispered a simple yes. "I find that hard to imagine," he said and walked back to the matress in which he was moments ago.

Half of me wanted him to hope in my bed with me there and then, but the more realistic half said to get some clothes for him to wear. I always hated wearing clothes again without washing them, like when you go on camps and have no time to do your laundry. "I... I won't be a minute," I whispered. Pulling my blanket off me and hoping out of bed, I walked out of the room and to my brother's room. I had butterflies on my belly from Jonathan's quick kiss and I couldn't stop smiling over it either. Quickly I went into my brother's room and grabbed a black and red track suit outfit for Jonathan. Silently closing the door, I then ran back to my room. I always hated the smell of my brother's room. He was only fourteen and was already smoking pot. 'But that's his life' I always thought. "Jonathan? I got you some clothes that you can borrow..." I started when I opened the door, but I didn't expect the sight I saw when I walked in.
