Though, the trailer didn't wow me like I expected, I still am holding this film higher than before. Sam Mendes is a genius and very very talented. Road to Perdition aside, take a gander at American Beauty and tell me that wasn't one of the greatest films of all time. This, minus Jake Gyllenhaal, should be good. | Jarhead-Universal Studios Director-Sam Mendes Stars-Jake Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, Jamie Fox, and Chris Cooper Producers-Lucy Fisher, Sam Mendes, & Douglas Wick Release Date-November 4th |

It is claimed as le'Woodman's return to grace and the perfect romantic comedies. Well it's probably a stretch from Annie Hall, but I am starting to hold high hopes. And the simple fact, Allen moved to London is really generating excitement for me. Reviews are more than golden. | Match Point-DreamWorks Pictures Director-Woody Allen Stars-Scarlett Johansson, Jonthan Rhys-Meyers, Brian Cox, & Emily Mortimer Producers-Letty Aronson, Lucy Darwin, Stephen Tennenbaum, Gareth Wiley Release Date-December 25th |

Rob Marshall jazzed us all up and wowed us with Chicago and went on to get an Oscar nomination and the film winning Best Picture. What more can be said about this promising project other than the fact that the casting is perfect. From Ziyi Zhang and Michelle Yeoh, to Oscar nominee Ken Wattanabe this is Oscar bait if Crouching Tiger was. | Memoirs of a Geisha-Columbia Tristar & DreamWorks Pictures Director-Rob Marshall Stars-Ziyi Zhang, Gong Li, Michelle Yeoh, & Ken Wattanabe Producers-Lucy Fisher and Douglas Wick Release Date-December 9th |

It feels a lot like 1993. In '93 Spielberg release a summer blockbuster based on a book that everyone loved entitled Jurassic Park. It's parallel in 2005 is War of the Worlds. Then he released Schindler's List in December. Some thought it wouldn't be out in time and yet it was and won the Oscar. It's parallel, this film, Munich based on the 1972 Munich Olympics. | Munich-Universal Stuidos & DreamWorks Pictures Director-Steven Spielberg Stars-Eric Bana, Daniel Craig, and Marie-Josee Croze Producers-Kathleen Kennedy, Barry Mendell, & Steven Spielberg Release Date-December 23rd |

| Terrence Malick manages one masterpiece per decade. And each one seems a little bit off Oscars Rocker, but they always score nods. The Thin Red Line seemed unlike an Oscar film and less likely to be nominated with Spielberg's war masterpiece, but this film spells somthing and it's Oscar. It will also most likely prove that New Line can be an Oscar Worthy Company. | The New World-New Line Cinema Director-Terrence Malick Stars-Collin Farrell, Christopher Plummer, Q'Orianka Kilcher, & David Thewlis Producers-Sarah Greene and Terrence Malick Release Date-November 9th |
