| Sandy Powell 1900 - 1982 The picture on the left, is from the cover of a book that covers Sandy's career, as told by Sandy to Harry Stanley. Harry can be seen with Sandy in the picture to the right. Having searched the internet, I was surprised to find very little information about Sandy. That is why I have created this, as a tribute to Sandy. |
| I have done some research about Sandy, that I am now preparing to add to this web page, and would like to thank the Archive section at Rotherham library for their help. I have contacted some of Sandy's family who still live in Rotherham, and they look forward to seeing the end result. |
| Sandy's family have kindly offered to supply more information and photographs, that have probably not been seen before by the general public. So, watch this space. |
