| This Umbrella Stand Bear is to raffled at the Mast General Store in Valle Crucis, North Carolina. The drawing will be held at the end of August during the River Day Festival that is sponsered by the Watagua River Conservation Group. The first two photos are of the bear being carved. |

| This is the finished statute. Some sculptors prefer to have a chain spanning the gap 'tween the paws, but this bear umbrella stand is carved with ample space to hold umbrellas or canes. The base of the sculpture is carved with a lip to prevent objects from sliding off. |
