Rotary International is the world's first service club organization. Its more than 1.2 million members volunteer their time and talent to further the Rotary motto, Service Above Self.
Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders. Members of Rotary clubs, known as Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
There are 33,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. As signified by the motto Service Above Self, Rotary�s main objective is service � in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.

Clarion, Iowa, USA
Clarion is located in North Central Iowa approximately 90 north of Des Moines on Highway 3 just west of Interstate 35. It is a small farming community and county seat for Wright county. Wright county has the distinction of having the only county seat exactly in the center of the county. The population was 2,968 at the 2000 census. Clarion is the birthplace of the four-leaf clover emblem used by the 4-H Clubs of America, conceived in 1907 by the local school superintendent. The Clarion Rotary Club is part of District 5970.
Meetings are held every Monday at 12:05PM at the Clarion Depot,
home of the Clarion Chamber of Commerce.
