My Haiku of Summer Camp in Colorado

		    Rosy the Cat


		A babbling brook
	     feet swirl lazily about
	     dangling from the bridge

		My hand slams down sharp
	       smashing the mosquito flat
		   I smile in triumph

		Coming from darkness
	      I gaze across the valley
	        at green pulsing life
