Since we are in the time where travel seems to be on everyones mind I thought I would start this blog about what I really know  first, which is the Dominican Republic.

     A little about mysef first so you understand my blog:

     I'm Canadian born and raised to Dominican parents.  They left the Dom.Rep. as soon as they got married and came to  Canada.  My father a famous Phd. in pathology,  came to Canada in order to be save from the  situation with the dictator Trujillo as president in those times.

     At the age of 16 I went to school there for two years and learned spanish. At 20 I went on vacation and got married there to a Dominican and I had my children there.  After 35 years I came to Canada again to settle down here and leave part of my family there.  I have a daughter 27 and a son 31 and 3 grandchildren.

     So I got very fond of this country and as a Canadian came to thought that I could offer my experience of that country and knowledge I learnt to you if that is your desire.

      For me would be a wonderful experience communicate the culture and life of that country to the point that I know and what I don't,  do reach on it for you.

     As an introduction I would like to share a few picture I have from there.
