"Crapcrapboringboringsappycrap," Miranda whined as she flipped through the TV channels. It was Friday and there was nothing on TV. Then it hit her 'it's Friday and I'm watching TV, what wrong with me? I should be out on a Friday, not sitting here on my ass watching some sappy film, like Saving Private Ryan. I'm losing it; no actually, I've already lost it. How am I suppose to find what I am looking for by sitting here?' she thought to herself.

"I think I better go for a ride," she said and ran to her room and gave herself a mischief smile.

Kyle was all set; he was finished for the day. He was going to go over to Michael's for a party that they were throwing for Isabel for her A on her midterms. Nick was closing tonight so he was good to go.

"Hey Kyle, turn of the light on your way out, will you?" he heard his boss shout.

"Sure thing," Kyle yelled back.

Kyle turned off the lights and turned around ready to leave this place.

"Hi there Kyle"

Kyle jumped at the voice and looked up, he saw a figure standing in the dim light leaning against the garage door, then when the figure entered the light he saw her.

"Hi, I didn't think I'd see you again," Kyle said.

"Kyle, how could I resist," she said in a low voice. His heart skipped a beat. "You got my baby," she said and walked towards her car "You didn't really think I'd leave her here all by herself with you," she said and grinned.

"I was wondering when you'd come to get her," Kyle said letting the silence fill the room.

"Have you been nice to my car, Kyle?" she asked.

"Sure have, I gave her a makeover worthy a queen," Kyle answered proudly.

Miranda started walking toward him and didn't stop until she was right in front of him. Her brown eyes sparkled while she looked at him with a steamy, teasing gaze. She narrowed her eyes at him and raised one eyebrow, smiled and said "Wanna go for a ride?" while dangling her car keys in her hand.

Suddenly the thought of Isabel and the party was long gone. A smile spread across his face.

"Hell yeah"

******

"GO, GO, GO!!!" Kyle shouted, jumping into the car. Miranda laughed and pushed the pedal to the metal. The tires shrieked before they fled the scene.

"Oh my god," Kyle yelled in total disbelief "I can't believe I just did that!" he said.

"Well, I gotta give it to you Kyle, I never thought you'd pull it off," she said laughing and speeded up.

"This is all your fault, I can't believe you actually talked me into this"

"Oh come on Kyle, it was funfor me anywaysKyle the streaker"

His face turned three shades of red. He started frantically putting on his clothes.

"Buddha, I'm so sorry man, don't hold it against me" He still couldn't believe that he; Kyle Valenti had actually stripped down butt naked and ran through the convenience store. And just because she dared him to. This girl had some unpacked on him. She could easily make him do things he wouldn't dare, things like streaking.

He moved to the front seat beside her in the car and put his seatbelt on. He looked at her and the world went into slow motion. She had a smile on her face and her eyes sparkled, her hair kept swaying in the wind, those perfect brown curls had a reddish shine.

She was now driving in high speed and they had already run a couple of red lights. Kyle felt like he was flying. Every curve was handed perfectly. She was an amazing driver.

Suddenly a siren went of, Kyle turned around to see who it was.

"Hanson, great now we are busted," he whined. His dad was so going to kill him.

"Don't think so," he heard Miranda say and sped up again.

"No, don't," Kyle warned.

"Don't sweat it Kyle, I can easily ditch him"

"No you don't understand, he knows me and"

"NOO, your dad is the sheriff? Oh no, I am so scared," she teased.

"Not quite, my dad was the sheriff, that's his former deputy Hanson. And if my dad finds out about this I'm dead meat," Kyle explained, hoping he didn't sound like a dork.

Miranda slowed down and stopped the car, then turned and looked at him.

"Ok Kyle, I guess I better get us out of this mess then"

"I'll handle this," Kyle said.

"No" she interrupted "I'll handle this" she said and gave him her it's my fault we're in this mess in the first place and shut up or Ill shut you up look. She took her license out while they waited for Hanson to appear.

"License and registration please," they heard him say.

Miranda put on her dazzling smile and turned to Hanson.

"Good evening officer," she pretended to look at his nametag and said "Hanson" giving him a hot look. "Is there a problem?" she asked playing totally innocent.

"You might say that. You, young lady, were driving way over the speed limit," Hanson said grabbing his belt, obviously trying to scare her with the it's against the law macho bullshit 'I don't think so, Miranda thought to herself. Miranda put a hand on her well-exposed chest.

"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry Officer Hanson," letting his name role of her tongue. "It's just that, we were in a hurry to get Kyle home, you see, his father wanted him home right away, it was some kind of emergency," she said in her academy award winner bimbo voice.

"Is that so Kyle?" Hanson asked.

Kyle, who was too busy, looking at where Miranda had her hand that he didn't hear Hanson.

"Umm, sorry, what?"

"I asked you if that was so?"

"Oh yes," he answered without even knowing what he was answering yes to. Miranda notes it and jumped in.

"You see officer," she slowly moved her hand away from her chest, making sure that Hanson was following "I didn't want to get Kyle in trouble by being late, so I drove as fast as I could, I didn't mean to go over the speed limit...honestly I didn't, I just wanted to get Kyle home as soon as possible"

"Yea, you know how my dad gets sometimes" Kyle jumped in. "Really Hanson, she didn't mean to drive so fast," he continued. "Cut us some slack, will you?"

Hanson wasn't thinking clearly and not because of Miranda's body language, but because of her strong hold on him. His eyes were like glued at hers. She had control over him.

"Ok, Ill let you go off with a warning this time," he said. "Say hello to your father for me Kyle"

"Sure thing," Kyle answered, totally disbelieving that Hanson was letting them of the hook that easy.

"There you go," Hanson said and handed Miranda her papers back.

"Thank you so much officer," Miranda said and broke the connection with him.

"Drive safe you hear" he said and left. When Hanson had driven away, Kyle spoke

"Wow, that was weird"

"What was?" Miranda asked.

"Hanson, just letting us go like that"

"Why, didn't you think I could be that persuasive?"

"No, of course I do, it's just that he never let anyone of that easy before"

"Must be my charmers," she said and pushed the pedal to the metal.

"So where do you want to go now?" Kyle asked.

"Actually I want to go home, I'm kind of tired," she answered. She wanted to take a long bath.

"Oh" Kyle said sounding sad. He didn't want this evening to end so soon.

"Sorry Kyle, but I've been up on my feet all day trying to fix my place, I'm really beat"

"Sure you are, I would be to" Kyle said trying to sound understanding.

"Can I drop you of somewhere, I could give you a ride home if you want," she offered. Then it hit him, the party would still be going on."

"Yea, you could drop me off at a friend of mine, it's just around the corner," he pointed.

"Ok," Miranda said and turned onto the street where Michael lived. She parked the car in front of the building and Kyle got out of the car. He turned around towards her.

"Are you sure you don't want to come in, come on it will be fun," he said trying to persuade her into coming with him.

"Kyle," she smiled at him with one of her dazzling heated smiles "Thanks but no thanks," she said.

"Alright, but just so you know, your breaking my heart," he said.

"Suffer, baby suffer," she joked with Kyle gestured a dagger piercing through his heart with his hands. Miranda laughed at him.

In that moment, Max came around the corner carrying pizza, barely caring cause it looked like he was going to drop them all any second.

"Looks like that guy needs some help," Miranda said and pointed at Max. Kyle turned around to see, and when he recognized Max, he went to help him.

"Hi there, need any help?" Kyle asked Max.

"Yeah, feel free," Max answered.

Miranda smiled at Kyle, getting ready to leave when she suddenly felt an agonizing strike of pain in her chest.

"Uhh," she let out a pained sigh. She squeezed the wheel. Then she notes a strange light glowing from her chest, before another razor-sharp pain struck her again, and she knew she had to get out of there.

Max felt something vibrate in the air, like electricity or something. Kyle turned.

"Good night," he started when he heard the tiers squeal after her as she drove off. "Miranda," he said, totally lost.

****DREAM****

She was almost there, just a little while longer and she'd be back in his arms where she belonged. She held her breath,

Soon.

Oh my god

He kneeled down on one knee. She froze at the sight of what was happening in front of her...as her blood rushed through her veins.

Will you marry me? She heard him ask. She felt like someone had stabbed her in through the heart. NOOO she wanted to screambut nothing came out and no sound passed her lips.

Will you be my wife? he asked. NOOO, STOP IT!!! The pain in her chest increased, causing her to fall to the floor.

Please be mine," he continued. Every word was just another stab that pierced straight through her wounded heart.

Ill cherish you forever!! Shut up, just shut up.

Ill love you with all my heart Ill give you all of me, he went on. The pain was unbearable.

Please say yes NOOO!!!

****END OF DREAM****

"NOOO!!" Miranda woke up screaming, gasping for air. She placed her hand over her aching chest.

Why! What does it mean?" she yelled. Miranda got out of bed and walked over towards the shelf, opened the secret compartment and brought out the orb. From the instant she touched it began to glow, and the light lit up the room.

Miranda looked up at the wall and saw symbols start to appear. The first one consisted of five stars gathered in a v shape, next to it there was a symbol of four stars forming a square, and then she looked at the last symbol.

It was the same symbol like the one on her orb, two triangles one up and one down and in the middle an oval ring, all three in an oval ring surrounding them.

Miranda moved her hand to touch the symbol but then the light went out just as suddenly as it had appeared. Why did this keep happening to her? She couldnt understand it. What did this mean? Could it be that she was on the right track? What?

Miranda ran her fingers through her long hair, totally frustrated. She didnt like feeling this way, helpless against her own subconscious. She didnt like it, not at all.

***********

Somewhere across town, the hot New Mexico weather was making it impossible for a surtin Blondie to sleep, so instead she was sitting on the edge of her Czechoslovakian boyfriends bed, painting her toenails. Besides the obvious irritation of not being able to sleep, Maria was feeling at peace, hearing Michel breathing softly, knowing that no matter what shed always have him by her side.

But Michel wasnt by her side tonight. He wasnt even on earth.
Michael was in fact very far away from earth and everyone he loved.
Tonight Michael was back at Antar, and for the first time his subconscious was allowing him to take a peak into the past. His past.

****DREAM****

Rathie give it back, Michael saw a little brown haired girl struggling with a taller boy for a doll that the boy was holding.

You want it? Then try to reach it, the boy said feeling almighty.

Mommy!" The little girl yelled. Making Michael laugh at the obvious fact that the boy had lost the battle before it had began.

Rathie doesnt wasnt to give me back Leah, the girl pointed at the doll.

Cry baby, the boy spat and threw the doll back at the girl.

Then the scenery changed into a great ballroom, where a celebration took place. He noticed that he was wearing some kind of uniform, and when he turned his head he saw Isabel standing next to him wearing a glittering dress. She leant in to whisper something in his ear but at that moment someone else caught Michaels eye.

A beautiful brown haired young woman entered the room in a pearl white dress and was coming down the stairs. A feeling of pure pride filled his heart as she walked over to him and gave embraced him in a hug filled with love and happiness. Michael felt himself leading her to the dance floor. Her eyes sparkled at him, absolutely melting him. He spun her across the floor a few times.

Suddenly a storm blew up shattering everything in its way, and Michaels hand felt empty all of the sudden, and when he turned his head to look, the girl was gone. Then he heard a torturous, deafening scream, which made the hair at the back of his neck rise. And a chill went down his spine. Michel turned around to look.

NOOO he heard Max scream, and Max knelt down next to a body lying on the floor. He ran towards a hysterical Max that was shaking the body, as he approached him he froze at the sight. He felt like someone had ripped his heart out from his chest, leaving him breathless.

NOOO wake up he heard Max cry.

Wake up, please god no!
