| Chapter 3 Papercut By: Linkin Park *Why does it feel like night today Something in heres not right today Why am I so uptight today Paranoias all I got left* Her plane had landed about an hour ago. She had gone by Doms to take some clothes, and basic necessities, and had dropped them off in the spare bedroom at Vinces, there was no way she was sleeping at home, not after the fight shed had with Dom, she couldnt bear to sleep in their bed. After that she headed straight to the garage. She wasnt lying when she said there was work to do. They had just gotten a civic in before they left. Blue, with custom rims, and enough Nos to blow the whole damn thing up. It was a mess. She decided shed start there. After the civic was a Nissan Skyline GTR. This was her dream car. She would give everything she owned for that car. Dom thought she was insane, said she was such a girl. Anyway, it was just a little bit out of her price range. She wrapped up what she could at the garage, and started to change out of her coveralls, into a dark tank, and a pair of blue jeans. She was locking up the office when in walked some girl. She looked vaguely familiar, but Letty wasnt in the mood to try and figure out who it was. Sorry, were closed. Im not here to patronize your little establishment. She said in an almost taunting kind of voice. Just here to pass some information on to you. Really? What could you have to say that could possibly be of any interest to me? Letty replied continuing to tie up loose ends around the shop. Its about your man. She drawled. That got Lettys attention. She looked up straight at the girl. Who the hell are you? You dont remember me? Letty shook her head. Trina Ling. She said, assuming Letty would know her after that. Letty shook her head again. Jamie Trans cousin. She said finally, exasperated with this game of cat and mouse. Oh. Letty replied. So thats why she looks familiar she thought vaguely. Just wanted to let you know that youre boys fucking Jamie and her best friend Kayla. She looked very proud of herself for getting the message right. *I dont know what stressed me first, Or how the pressure was fed But I know what it feels like to have a voice in the back of my head* And why should I believe a fucking word you say? Letty challenged. You dont have to, but maybe you should keep that boy on a tighter leash. I can take care of my own man thank you. Well apparently you cant if hes running to our kind to get some. Get the fuck out of here. Letty was too upset to deal with this little bitchs shit right now. I can see why he strays with a bitch like you for his women. Fuck you! she screamed in response. Meow. She cooed softly, and left the way she had come, leaving a very upset Letty to her own devices, which turned out to be almost lethal. *Like a face that I hold inside A face that awakes when I close my eyes A face that sees every time I lie A face that laughs every time I fall.* |
