| SERIES ONE EPISODE TWENTY TWO DESTINY (Whew! - This episodes a long one!) |
| After escaping from the FBI, Valenti orders the kids to meet him at an abandoned mill where they can regroup. Liz and Max become separated from the group and Max says to Liz that he controls his own destiny - no matter what any book says. The twot hen declare their love for each other (again- we all know they'll be together again one day, why can't they just understand that?). Fearing that Liz and Max may have been caught, Valenti and Michael go looking for them, however, Michael has to use his powers in front of Valenti to save Liz and Max from the FBI agents. Soon after, Valenti discovers the truth about the alien identities of Max, Isabel, Michael, and Tess. Max devises a plan to trap Agent Pierce using Valenti as a decoy. With Pierce in their possession, Max turns the tables and interrogates him as to the whereabouts of the missing Nasedo. Meanwhile, while looking for his father, Kyle discoveres the tied-up Agent Pierce. Still thinking that he's Deputy Fisher, Kyle releases him and Pierce then tells Kyle to hide. When Max, Michael and Valenti return, Pierce pulls out a gun to shoot the aliens. Valenti shoots at him and misses. Michael, seeing Pierce's gun aimed at Valenti, uses his powers and accidentally kills Pierce. Valenti then discovers that his one missed gunshot hit his son Kyle. Max then saves Kyle's life and Valenti swears that he is indebted to them forever. Isabel has successfully dreamwalked Pierce, and finds out the whereabouts of Nasedo. Isabel tells Tess that she fears Nasedo may be dead. Tess reveals that she knows a way that the four aliens can revive Nasedo. Wanting to stay with Max, Liz goes with the four of them. After successfully rescuing Nasedo's body, Max, Isabel, Liz, Tess, and Michael go to the pod chamber. Liz can only watch on as the four heal Nasedo with the healing stones from their home planet. Max then demands that Nasedo tell them everything he knows about the two orbs that they now have in their possession. Nasedo tells him that he is only there to protect them and that the two orbs are communicators with their home planet. Nasedo warns Max that if he uses the communication orbs, he not only may alert people on his home planet of his whereabouts, but also other alien enemies. Max then comes up with a plan and tells Nasedo to pose as (the now dead) Pierce in order to infiltrate the secret unit of the FBI. Nasedo shape shifts into Pierce and departs. Max tells the others that he wants to know what the communicators can tell them. When put together, the two orbs emit a holographic image of Max and Isabel's real mother in a human form. The hologram then proceeds to explain their existence. She tells them that Max was a great leader on their home planet, that Tess was his wife, and that Isabel was engaged to Michael, who was Max's first in command. She continues to explain that there is a war on their planet, and that they've been sent to Earth to be protected until the say comes that they can go back home and save their race. Before the hologram disappears, their she warns them that there are those on Earth who hunting for them and that they will only know them from the evil inside. Once Liz has learned about Max's true destiny, she decides to let him go. Max tries to convince Liz that he still makes his own destiny, but not being able to handle standing in the way, Liz runs off. As Max, Michael and Isabel watch Liz running off, we (the audience) hears a beeping going off around the world - which is informing alien enemies of their location in Roswell. |
