She was planning to release an album of her own songs in early 2001, it is now out and available for purchase at majandra.com entitled 'The Sicks'. Her music has been likened to that of Bjork. She has been dating on-screen love interest Brendan Fehr since 2000. At age 10 she danced in 'The Nutcracker' with Miami Ballet. At age 11 she joined an all-female singing quartet/pop group 'China Doll' this group included Beegee Maurice Gibbs' daughter (also Majandra's best friend) Samantha. They specialized in latin style pop and a few years later, the two friends left the group and continued to write and record as a duo. She once sang at a BeeGees concert when she was 12 years old with Beegee Maurice Gibbs' daughter. Elder sister Marieh is also an actress. |
