Full name: Alex Charles Whitman
He was one of the last humans to find out about Max, Isabel and Michael being aliens. He, Liz and Maria are all best friends, and have been for ages. They eventually told him about the aliens' secret when it became obvious that he was being hurt by the fact that they were keeping an important secret from him. He is a sweet and funny guy (who is intimidated by his ex-army-officer father in the book series who wants Alex to grow up to be a big strong manly man in the army, I can't remember if this has happened in the TV series or not)
He has had a secret crush on Isabel for a long time. One night, Isabel 'dream walks' into one of Alex'z dreams and dream dances with him at his dream prom (I know that sounds confusing but if you watch the episode with it, you'll know what I mean). He plays the guitar and bass guitar and he has a garage band called The Whits, which Maria sometimes sings with. Though Isabel feels they shouldn't be together as a couple, he is always there for her when she needs him, and will be waiting just in case she changes her mind.
LATEST INFO....Alex has died in a car crash, Isabel still sees him as he helps her in her sub-conscious. The group of teenagers discover that Tess caused Alex's death and that she has been mind-warping them to get things going the way she wants. The two months that Alex was supposedly on his big OE as an exchange student, he had really been in Roswell all along, interpreting a book that Tess needed information from, at a nearby college/university campus. |
