Why are alcohol and cigarettes legal while cannabis is not?
Why is it legal to pollute the environment by:
driving offensive polluting vehicles?
using toxic perfumes (there are no restrictions on the chemicals companies use in 'fragrances')?
pouring chemicals down our drains?
using a sewage system that pollutes our drinking water?
Why does the Health Canada pay for visits to see medical doctors which treat symptoms with dangerous pharmaceuticals rather than support alternative forms of health care which actually help the patient?
Why does one of the richest countries in the world provide a less than adequate amount of money for basic needs of the poor?
Why does the government not support the labelling of genetically modified ingredients in our food when 95% of Canadians want such labels?
Why do the City of Kingston and Government of Ontario pay billions in tax dollars for roads (designed for drivers) leaving the responsible citizens (skateboarders, rollerbladers, cyclists) no safe way to get around without breathing smog and risking our lives by being forced to travel within inches of rushing & speeding death-mobiles (over 40 000 good folk die each year in N.A. alone due to traffic accidents, not to even mention injuries.)
Why are companies that create disposable and/or cheap (often plastic) polluting products not held responsible for paying for or dealing with the garbage they have created?
Why do people accept such absurd assumptions as part of life and continue to live irresponsibly?
