Inasmuch as the Canadian Government is committed to complying with the Kyoto Accord to reduce greenhouse gas emissions; and
Inasmuch as the automotive and oil industries are prime contributors to those deadly gases; and
Inasmuch as the drivers of cars, trucks, and buses are presently both protected from and do not see the pollution they are causing; and
Inasmuch as Canadians would change their polluting ways if they were aware of how they were fouling up the very air they depend on to live and breathe;
Be it resolved that all cars, trucks and buses will have the exhaust pipe installed at the front of the vehicle in full view of the driver - as a hood ornament.
