Thank you to everyone who helped
WE did it!! The 24-hour one-man race for Caitlyn's Cause was a success. We raised over 3,000 dollars for Caitlyn's Cause and we still have allot left to auction off. I completed 655 laps and 720.5 miles in the racing Kart. I had a great team supporting me, without them it would have been impossible. Sonny Johnston, Larry Goudeau, Kenny Hardy, Brian Schexnider and Rhett Major strayed up with me the hole 24 hours. They were the team leaders, and they kept me going. Many others came out to the track and helped. At one time we had about 40 people at the track, 2,000 watching on the web cam and many posting jokes and words of support on the forums on Bob's 4cycle, you all will never know how much that helped. Late Thursday night everyone at the track came out by turn one and did the wave as I went buy. That was awesome to see, I almost lost it, in more ways that one. Thank you to all that helped and showed support, thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. What we did was hard on all of us, but it was worth every bit. From what I here you had to be 21 to drink the coffee they had in the pits. After the event, my heals hurt, my butt hurt, my arms hurt, my hands hurt, but that's ok because deep within my heart I am so proud of my pit crew and our sponsors and everyone who donated, jumped in to lend a hand and gave words of support. You all are simply the best and you have to know that I am so proud of all of you. You have helped Caitlyn and made race fans out of her and here family for sure. Caitlyn and her family were at the track the hole time and Caitlyn absolutely stole everyone's heart. She is an amazing little girl. Through all of this I have made many new friends and strengthened many existing friendships. In the beginning I believed that God brought all of us in the Karting community together to make a difference in a little girls life. How were we to know just how much that little girl would affect our lives. Her strength has changed us all for the better. I now believe that God didn't bring us together to help Caitlyn. He brought Caitlyn to help us, and she did. Thank you all Jeff Ross
