Ross J. Edwards, RPh, PhD is the Director of the Providence Home and Community Pharmacy Services, which provides hospital specialty compounding services, home infusion, hospice and long-term care distributive and clinical pharmacy services for more than 1000 patients throughout Oregon and southwest Washington.

Dr. Edwards has an academic appointment at Oregon State University as Instructor of Pharmacy Practice, and is a past President of the Oregon Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Ross recently served as the Director of Medication Management for Premier Clinical Pharmacy Services, a health alliance of integrated health care delivery networks. His position responsibilities were: Project Director of the Premier Adverse Drug Event and Drug Utilization Clinical Performance Improvement national initiatives, serving as the medication technology subject matter expert for the Premier Idealized Design of the Medication System project and medication technology consultant.

His past experiences include serving as the Corporate Director of Pharmacy Services for Legacy Health System, Legacy Health System Pharmaceutical Contracts Specialist, American Healthcare System Pharmacy Advisory Board Chairperson, Premier Pharmacy Subcommittee chairperson, and Oregon State University College of Pharmacy Advancement Council.

He also has significant experience in pharmacy software development and automation technology applications.
