Once again Valentino Rossi has gone against all odds and has won the opening round of the Moto Gp. But not only did he win the race he also won it on his debu Yamaha ride! but unfortunately for Biaggi fans they can no longer say "Rossi Has A Faster Bike" I'm sure we have all heard that one before but the rivalry was put aside for this race as Valentino and Max shook hands after the race. All and all the race wasnt that exciting apart from the top three riders at the start Sete was trying to take on Max into one of the long right hand corners at Welkom but it didn't last long as Max had his eyes set on Valentino and broke away from Sete and gained on Valentino. Although Valentino's tyres were wearing out quickly Valentino didn't break under all the pressure and hand it to Max although Max did make some moves up the inside Valentino hit back and managed to keep Max off his tail until the end of the race. It was an emotional Valentino as he took time and stoped to reflect on the race he just won, Valentino said after the race that "This Is The Best Moment Of My Career. |
