I am writing to recommend children's authors Ken and Debby Buchanan.
The Buchanan's tour during the 1994-95 school year included ten St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES component school districts, with audiences ranging from kindergarten through grade 12. The results were fantastic!
Audiences were intrigued by their story telling, their inspiration for writing, and their commitment to the principles of setting goals and working hard to achieve them. Most importantly, their presentations encouraged students to follow their dreams and never give up.
The important messages were skillfully woven into their stories and experiences as authors. Teachers' reactions were very positive. The Buchanans were well received throughout our region.
