Thursday, July 16, 2004 I just decided to add a new section to let you know a bit of what's going on in my life. This is brand new and i just started it today. So yea, this is basically what's going on. I have just recently got my own apartment. I moved in on June 27, 2004. I live all by myself. I like it so far. It is quiet, at times too quiet, but I am adjusting. I am so used to having people around all the time. But I do like the privacy. I can do what I want when I want. I no longer live on the "rez". I haven't been up to a whole lot lately. I've been just working. I started working for Coulson Forest Products a few months back. I am enjoying it so far. I never thought I'd like working in labour, but I like it. I want to do something this summer. I want to go somewhere different. Who knows where, but i want to go somewhere. Even if it's by myself. I like travelling and just going to a whole new place. I think that's fun. And travelling solo isn't all that bad. But yea, I have to get my school in order also. I intend on doin a semester here in September, then moving to the big city (vancouver). I really haven't a fucking clue what I want to do. I'll know when I am there. But I am goin to go into Political science right now. I like it because there are so many options once i recieve my degree. Or even better I can go to school and advance even more. My goal is to have a career by the time I am 27-29. I want to have a good job by then. Then retire early. I want to travel as much as I can also. I love to travel, and want to see as much of this world before I "kick the bucket". But yea, I am not up to a helluva lot lately, but I can't complain. Life's all good. I'll update this whenever I can. G'nite
Saturday October 2, 2004 Well it has been a while since I last wrote in this thing. It has been a busy couple of days. I just moved to vancouver all by myself. I just moved into my new apartment yesterday. I am living on Vancouver's West Side. It's a nice neighborhood right beside city hall. It's a nice place. I am presently living with my friend Peter whom I met in April. But yea, I am glad to get out of port Alberni. Port Alberni will alway be my home though no matter what. My summer turned out to be a blast. I spent a lot of time in Vancouver in the month of august. I went to seattle on labor day weekend. I went and spent the weekend with auntie charlotte. Pete came along with me. I went to this outdoor arts festival called Bumbershoot. I'd definately go back to this festival. We got to see Nickelback (pushed our way right up to the front), puddle of mudd, seal, Nas, and public enemy. I will add some pictures whenever I have time.
December 2, 2004 I haven't written in here in a few months. I am still in vancouver. I am actually enjoying it. I feel much more independent over this way. I was working for an employment agency for a while. They just basically contract me out on a temporary basis, so I was all over the city. This was alrigh thtough, because it gave me the chance to get to know the city more. I just got a new job the other day. I am going to be working at Safeway. This should be different, but I am always open to new things. The safeway is only a few blocks down from where I live. So not a whole lot is new, but I am enjoying the city life very much. I occasionally miss home, but I keep in good contact with my immediate family. I am going home for the holidays, and Pete is also coming with me. I don't know what we are going to be doing for new years eve..........we are having a hotel party at the Hyatt Regency on December 30, 2004. But yea, that's a little what's happening in my life at this time. Chuu
