It starts right after Ross talked to Joey when he convinced him to tell Rachel how he feels.

Ross steps out of Joey's apartment and closes the door behind him. He looks miserable and heartbroken. Phoebe comes up the stairs and sees him.

Phoebe: (worried) Oh my Ross, what's going on?

She approaches him and gently strokes his arm while he looks down

Ross: (sad, looks up) Nothing...I....I have to go...sorry.

He leaves and Phoebe loks after him feeling bad for Ross.

Scene fades out
 

Scene: We see Ross later walking in a park. He runs his fingers through his hair and is near tears. Then he sighs heavily and sits on a bench and buries his face into his hands. After a few minutes he feels tears forming in his eyes. He quickly wipes them away as if it would embarrasse him. His chest's hurting from the pain he feels in his heart. It almost kills him. He tries to calm himself down by breathing slowly and deeply. Foodsteps are being heard and we see Phoebe coming up. She sits down beside him and simply looks at him. The she softly touches his shoulder and strokes it. He doesn't look up though.

Phoebe: (softly) Honey, you've got to tell me what's wrong with you.

Ross: (still looking down) How did ya found me?

Phoebe: I followed you and I kinda expected you'd come here.

Ross: (still looking down) Why?

Phoebe: (smiles weakly) Cuz you always come here when you feel miserable.

Ross slowly looks up at Phoebe.

Ross: Joey told me that he's in love with Rachel.

Phoebe: (surprised) Oh I see.....and how do you feel?

Ross: (sad) After realising what this really means I feel like someone ripped my heart out and smashed it on a wall. -pause- I wasn't expecting anything like that...you know....god and now there's this pain in my heart. (near tears) Why does that always happen to me, huh? Why does everything around me always have to be so complicated? ...Rachel is pregnant with my baby and my best friend is in love with her! You know, while Joey was telling me this, I realised how much I still care about her, how much I miss her.....that I still wish we could work things out and be a real family. (sobs) I still love her and now......god and Joey loves her too.

Phoebe watches Ross letting out all the pain and sorrow he's feeling. She feels sorry for him and wants to comfort him but for the first time in her life she doesn't know how. She sees tears streaming down Ross's face while he's talking.

Ross: My life's a mess. Three divorces, two children out of wedlock and my best friend is in love with Rachel....could it be any worse?

Phoebe: (softly) yeah...yeah it could. See all of those people are healthy and alive! That may sound stupid but see, my mom killed herself, I never had a real family, I lived on the street and the only man I ever really loved lives in Minks! ....-pause-...Ross, there's this baby, your and Rachel's that will always bring you two together no matter what.

Ross: (thinks) I'm sorry Pheebs. Look at me...I'm acting like a whimp.

Phoebe: (smiles weakly) Your acting like someone who's madly in love.

Ross looks down again.

Ross: If Joey and Rachel get together I'm gonna kill myself.

Phoebe: Ross, stop talking like that!

Ross: Seriously Pheebs, I couldn't take it! Even though she couldn't find a better guy....It would break my heart. You know...I kinda expected we would be together by now. I mean....God, it's Rachel....

Camera slowly fades out on them  huging now.
 

Next scene: Rachel and Joey in the restaurant. IPMORTANT NOTE: This scene is NOT written by me, but by Crane and Kauffman. I just put it here so you see what happend there. Here we go:

Rachel: …and I know Chandler is kidding but it happens every time he touches my stomach. I mean I’m really worried the baby’s not going to like him. (Joey is staring at the table.) Are you okay?

Joey: What? Yeah! Sure! Uh, look at the uh, the reason…(Exhales slowly)—Is it hot in here?

Rachel: No. Not-not for me, but why don’t you take off your sweater?

Joey: I would, but this is a nice place and my T-shirt has a picture of Calvin doing Hobbs.

Rachel: Oh my God! Really?! Can I see it?

Joey: Yeah. Sure. (They both half stand up, Joey pulls the neck of his sweater out, and Rachel looks down it to see his T-shirt.)

Rachel: Huh. Wow, I wouldn’t think Hobbs would like that so much.

Joey: Uh… How long have we known each other?

Rachel: Um, seven…e-e-eight, eight years. Wow.

Joey: Uh-huh, long time.

Rachel: Yeah.

Joey: But over the past few weeks…

(A waiter runs over interrupting Joey.)

Waiter: Hah, sorry about the wait, but it is mega-jammed in here! We have a couple specials tonight…

Joey: Actually uh, could you give us a second?

Waiter: Sure. Sure. (Turns away, then turns back) Second’s up! (Joey glares at him.) Not…that kind of table. (He walks away.)

Rachel: So you were saying?

Joey: I’m not quite sure.

Rachel: Okay, well you had asked me how long we had known each other, and I said, "Eight years." And the um, waiter came over and cut his tip in half, and umm…now here we are.

Joey: Yeah, here we are. Uhh… I… I think I’m…falling in love with you.

Rachel: (stunned) What?

Joey: I’m falling in love with you.

Rachel: (looking around) Who are you talking too? Oh, you’re kidding! Oh, it’s a joke! (Laughs.) It’s funny. It’s funny. I don’t get it. (Joey doesn’t say any thing and Rachel realizes it’s not a joke.) Oh. (Pause) Okay. Umm… I-I…uh, wow. Are you uh… How did umm… When?

Joey: Does it really matter?

Rachel: Wow! Wow. Wow. Wow, it is hot in here.

Joey: Okay look Rach, I know this is a lot. You don’t have to say anything. You-you uh, you take as much time as you need. (Long pause as Rachel says nothing.) Okay, you gotta say something!

Rachel: Joey, Joey I love you so much, but I…

Joey: But. (Hangs his head down.)

Rachel: Joey.

Joey: Yeah-yeah right. That’s okay. That’s fine. That’s uh, pretty much what I was expecting. So uh, it’s no big deal. All right? I think I’m gonna go. (Stands up.)

Rachel: No! Joey please! Please don’t! Please don’t leave like this! Now come on, you cannot do this to a pregnant woman! (Starts to cry.)

Joey: Don’t start doing that. You can’t do that Rach, ‘cause then you’re gonna make me do that. (Starts to cry.) Oh, here we go! (Sits down next to her.)

Rachel: Can I? (Hug him.)

Joey: Sure!

(They hug.)

Rachel: Oh Joey honey I don’t…I don’t want to lose…

Joey: Hey-hey-hey, hey! You can’t. Okay? Ever!

Rachel: I’m so sorry.

Joey: Oh no-no Rach, please, don’t be sorry. Okay? Don’t be sorry. (They hug again.) Y’know I was only kidding you.

Rachel: Yeah, that was a real good one.

End of this scene.
 

It's about 12:30 in the morning when Ross enters his apartment. It's completly dark in there and he's about to light up when he sees Rachel sleeping on the couch. He slowly heads toward the couch and sits down on the table beside her, takes a blanket and covers Rachel. Then he softly kisses her forehead and watches her sleep peacfully. He looks at her for a long time with thousand of thoughts in his head. Then when he finally gets up Rachel stirs and slowly opens her eyes.

Rachel: (almsot whispering) Ross? Where were you? I was worried to death.

Ross: (looking a bit guilty) Sorry, I was in the park with Phoebe.

Rachel: Are you okay? Cuz you look awful.

Ross: I'm ....I'm fine. But how are you? You don't look that happy yourself.

Rachel slowly sits up and points Ross to sit next to her on the couch. He does and she lays her hand on his and rubs it softly.

Rachel: Joey told me that he's in love with me.

Ross: yeah.

Rachel: (surprised) You know? (Ross looks down and then back at her)

Ross: Yeah but that's not important now..-pause-..and you? What did you tell him? (he looks deeply into her eyes feeling again the tears forming in his eyes but fights hard against them)

Rachel: I told him that I love him (Ross freezes) as a friend.

Ross looks very relieved and Rachel moves a bit closer to him then looks lovingly into his eyes.

Rachel: (softly) I was kinda hoping that these words would come out of your mouth, not his...

They gaze into each others eyes, both near tears.

Ross: (trying to explain) Rachel, I..(Rachel puts her index finger on his lips) (he whispers) I love you

Rachel gets teary eyed and Ross softly touches her cheek. He then brushes some of her hair out of her face and leans his forehead against hers while she has her eyes closed. She then opens them and smiles a bit and starts to sob.

Rachel: (whispering back) I love you, too.

They kiss with all the passion and love they feel for each other. After that they just hug and cry of joy and happiness...
