Here is how the first part ended:

R&E's apartment. Ross is sitting on the couch, reading the newspaper when someone knocks at the door. He gets up and smiles brightly, knowing it's Emily who tries to fool him. He goes to the door and opens it and gets a surprised look. It's Rachel. He'd never seen her this pale before. She smiles weakly at him.

Ross: (happily) hey Rach, come in (she enters the apartment) Ah Rach, you never gonna believe what happend! (they both sit on the couch). While Ross talks, he focuses on a spot on the table while Rachel faces him) Me and Emily, we spent the best two weeks together! It's going so great and I never was this happy since...can't remember. She even came up with the baby idea again. Can you believe this?

He eventually looks at Rachel and sees tears streaming down her face. She quickly wipes them away and takes a deep breath. Ross's by now very worried.

Ross: Rach? What's going on with you? What happend?

Rachel: (can barely speak) Ross, I (starts to sob) I'm pregnant....

Ross stares at her in disbelief and is completly shocked. What did she just say? He can't believe his ears. She's pregnant? No way. We used condoms. Maybe she's just mad at me because I stopped our affair.. - But what if..

Rachel: (still sobbing) 4 weeks now.

Ross: Rach, you're joking, right?

Rachel: (hurt) what?

Ross: (gets up and starts pacing around) Oh my god, that can't be true. You're sure? (she nods) no, no, no (Rachel's even more hurt when she sees him totally freaking out) Rach, I can't ....I mean....this is just....oh my god, what am I gonna do!? Emily mustn't find out! I can't have this now...

Rachel: (shocked) What are you saying, Ross? You don't want the baby? (she says that with tears in her eyes)

Ross: (upset) Rach, we used condoms. How the hell did this happen?

Rachel: Ross, answer me!

Ross: (upset and confused) No, I want you to have it but ...... I can't be the dad. Rach, it's not possible, I can't be a dad to that baby, I'm sorry. I'm with Emily and we're happy and if she finds out.....oh my god

Rachel: (incredible hurt) How am I gonna do that? I mean, what am I going to say or do?

Ross: No one must find out! (really loud) you hear me? No ONE!

Rachel: (scared and even more hurt) How am I gonna do that?

Ross: I'm gonna pay for everything and .... I'm gonna look after the baby as good as possible but no one ever will find out that I'm the dad.

Rachel: (shaken and crying now) I don't know you anymore. You're such a different person to me. You're not the Ross I know....How can you do this to me! How?! (starts yelling) It's not my fault and you're as involved as I am! What happend to you?! (Ross calms down and sees that she's totally upset. He goes to her and wants to hug her but she pulls him away) Don't!! ....touch me....

Ross: Rachel listen. I'm happy Emily and I worked this out and we're on the right way! I want this marriage to work so badly, you understand? (she looks at him heartbroken) And if she finds out that I'm the father of that baby, everything will be destroyed! I don't want to risk that! (teary eyed now) Listen Rach, I'll be here for the baby everytime she or he needs me and I'll be there for you, too. Just tell the others, that you don't know who the father is! Please Rach...

Rachel: And make them think I'm a slut!

Ross: no Rach...please, do it for me!

Rachel: (tears are rolling down her cheek) I can't believe I'm doing this for you! You have no idea what you're expecting me to do.

Ross: Hey, I'm sorry all this happened. And under this circumstances. I just don't want to risk my marriage...

In that very moment Rachel just wants out of this apartment, out of Ross's life. He hurted her like she never thought he ever would. But after all, after all he did to her, she still had this feelings for him and is now carring his baby. He always will be a part of her and she wants him to be happy, although it hurts...No one ever will find out that Ross is the father of this baby. But soon, everyone will find out that she's pregnant. Pregnant with a baby whose father she doesn't know...
This talk didn't end like she expected it would. Actually she thought a baby will bring them back together. But he loves Emily, not her. What he did to her was too much and she'll never forgive him....ever.
 

The next week goes like this: Rachel feels miserable and sad and tries to avoid Ross as good as possible. To be sure about her pregnancy she meets a doctor to do a pregnangcy test and it came out positive. It's the result she silently hoped for. Ross feels uncomfortable with the whole situation. On one the hand he doesn't want Emily to find out about he being the father of Rachel's baby, on the other hand he wants to be a dad for that baby so badly. During that week he's all confused and feels sorry for saying those things to Rachel. After a week of avoiding each other and pretending that everything's allright, he can't stand it any longer and wants to meet Rachel. Her feelings now changed from sadness to anger. But after all, she's willing to have a second serious talk with him.

Scene: A bench in a park. Ross is sitting on it, playing with his fingers nervously. He never was that nervous before. Not even before his wedding. He takes several deep breaths and closes his eyes. Then he opens them and sees Rachel coming up. He smiles weakly at her but she looks at him coldly. She sits down and he wants to kiss her cheek but she refuses.

Rachel: Okay, what do you want to talk about?

Ross: (shyly and unsure) Rach, I'm sorry that I expect you to do me this favour.

Rachel: (a bit upset and cold) Oh, for you it's just a favour!?

Ross: No, of course not. I just wanted to tell you that it is hard for me, too.

Rachel: (ironic) Oh I'm sorry. Never thought of that.  How selfish am I?

Ross: (getting angry) God, would you please stop acting like a bitch! I'm trying to explain my situation to you.

Rachel: Sorry Ross, but you made it clear the other day. I got it and I won't tell anybody, okay!?

Ross: I'm sorry you've to go through this.

-awkward silence-

Rachel: (calm) the doctor confirmed it.

Ross: huh? (they look at each other)

Rachel: He confirmed the pregnancy. ( a slight smile crosses her lips)

Ross: So there's no way back now? (smiles too but Rachel gets that wrong and looks hurt) Oh no, it's not that I don't want that baby, really. I just wish that the circumstances are different.

R&M's. Monica's there when Rachel enters.

Rachel: hey Mon

Monica: hi sweetie

Monica's reading a magazine and Rachel approaches her.

Rachel: Mon, do you have a minute?

Monica: (lays the Mag on the table) Anytime, what's up?

Rachel: Err (hesitates) I've to tell you something.

Monica: (curious) okay, shoot.

Rachel: but please, don't freak out

Monica: (worried) What's it?

Rachel: I'm pregnant.

Monica: (her eyes widen in shock and her mouth drops) wahhh..

Rachel: I told you not to freak out.

Monica: youuu....you are pregnant? (Rachel nods) As pregnant?

Rachel: yeah

Monica: How can that be? (realizes) I mean, who's the father? You don't have a boyfriend, do you?

Rachel: Actually I don't know who the father is.

Monica: (shocked) huh? what? You don't know who the father is?

Rachel: I had a few guys in the last few months. I seriously don't know who it is.

Monica: So you had a few guys! Well that explains a lot! (smiles)

Rachel: What? Why?

Monica: You coming home late or even stay out overnight....

Rachel: yeah, now you know why (her acting gets more and more uneasy)

Monica: Wow and now you're pregnant. Aww (hugs her as Phoebe enters)

Phoebe: Hey, what's going on here?

Monica: (looks at Rachel) Can I tell her? (before Rachel can answer) Rachel's pregnant.

Phoebe: What? You're pregnant? (Rachel nods) Wow, congratulations. And who's the father?

Monica and Rachel share a look.

Rachel: (uneasy) Uhg, I don't know exactly...

R&M's. Rachel's alone in the apartment talking on the phone.

Rachel: (coldly) ....everybody knows now....no.....I said that I don't know exactly who it is.....yeah.....I just wanted you to know....yeah...bye.

Rachel hangs up the phone and sighs heavily rubbing her belly.
 

Here's what happens the next month:

Emily and Ross are having a great time. They don't fight at all and Emily even reduced her work hours.They spend a lot of time together and enjoy it very much. While Ross's having no problems at all, Rachel has her ups and downs. Since Ross ended their affair she feels incredible lonely. Although she is still angry with Ross, she misses their talks and the good times they used to have together. She tries to work as much as possible to get her mind off her thoughts, but it doesn't work at all. And on top of all the morning sickness. It is almost killing her and the thought of being a mother soon scares her to death.
 

Now we're at R&E's. It's evening and they're having a romantig dinner. After they've finished eating, Emily takes Ross hand into hers and starts talking.

Emily: Ross, lately....I was often thinking about...

Ross: about?

Emily: About you and me having a baby together? As you said, I think it's the best time for us!

Ross's mouth drops and his eyes widden.

Emily: Honey, what's with you? I thought you want to have a baby!

Ross: (uncomfortable) I did...I do, but I seriously don't think we're ready for that.

Emily: (surprised) What? Why? I mean, Rachel's having a baby, too. And she's not even married! (Ross looks even more uncomfortable)

Ross: True, but let's not...push...it, I mean....we have all the time. (tries hard to get out of that conversation)

Emily: I don't get it! About 5 months ago, you wanted one, too!

R&M's. Everyone's there except for Emily and Ross.

Joey: .. and now I got this cool role.

Phoebe: way to go, Joey!

Monica: Hey Rach, news about the father?

Rachel: (surprised that this comes up again) nope

Phoebe: Ah you're such a liar. You know who the father is!

Rachel: (uneasy) no, really I have no idea!

Phoebe: I seriously doubt that. A woman can tell that. Even if there are fifty men, she'd know who it is.

Rachel: Maybe you could do that, but I don't!

Monica: Yeah Phoebe, I think I couldn't do that either.

Phoebe: Monica, first get pregnant and then we can talk about that again!

Scene fades out
 

We're in a restaurant. Everyones's there and they're having dinner together.

Emily: Wow, this salmon really tastes good.

Monica: and the chicken does, too. How about your salad, Rachel?

Rachel: It's good, but I'm not that hungry.

Joey: (while eating) hm, Rach...do you know now who the father is? (everyone stares at her and she looks at Ross who seems to feel very guilty)

Rachel: (looks now at Joey) Nope. And I don't think I want to know it either.

Chandler: why?

Rachel: See, all the guys who, in fact, could be the father of that baby, are jerks. I can raise this child by myself. I don't need him.

Ross looks down and then up at her. He looks now sad.

Emily: But don't you think he has a right to know?

Rachel: No. As I said, I don't know who it is: Now would you please excuse me for a sec, I've to go to the toilets. (leaves the table)

Rachel goes into the bathroom and turns on the water. She splashes water into her face and then sighs deeply. She then fixes her make up and leaves the room, finding Ross outside the door.

Rachel: (coldly) what?

Ross: I had no idea it would be so hard.

Rachel: (sarcastic) Yeah well, surprise!! (fake grin)

Ross: I'm sorry

Rachel: (really angry) Stop it, Ross! I can't hear it anymore. You know what? I meant what I said out there! ( Ross looks confused) The father of MY baby IS a jerk and I will raise the baby by MYSELF!!

Ross: (shocked) wh-what?

Rachel: Yeah see, you used me for having sex! You just USED ME! When you had problems with Emily I was good enough for you, and then "bang" you just leave me on the side. I hate you for what you did to me!

Ross: Rach, that's not true. I..(Rachel interrups him)

Rachel: (upset) Save it! I don't want tho hear it! You have no idea how I felt and how much you hurted me. You are so selfish!

Ross: Why did I hurt you? We said it is just about sex! No strings attached! There were no feelings! -pause- ...were there?

Rachel: (with tears in her eyes) Maybe...

With that she leaves him shocked and confused. He couldn't believe what she just said. He didn't know she had feelings ..... For him, it was just about sex. He feels even more guilty and sad. Rachel will never forgive him. As she said, she hates him. ...HATE him. He returned to the table to find Rachel and Monica laughing really hard. The whole evening Rachel didn't looked at him again. No one noticed or even cared that Ross didn't say one word during the whole evening. Not even Emily. She joined the girls talk. Ross never felt this lonely...
 

Two weeks later. Monica invited everybody for dinner. Rachel and Ross haven't seen each other in these two weeks. They're all sitting at the table and are talking when suddenly Rachel asks for everyone's attention.

Rachel: You know what!?! (she shoots Ross a look who couldn't take his eyes off of her) I finally know who the father is.

Ross is totally shocked and his blood freezes. He starts to sweat and almost stops breathing. No one seems to notice him panicing.

Monica: Really? (excited) Who?

Rachel: (again stares at Ross) You don't know him. (Ross lets out a loud sight of relief which causes everybody to look at him) And as I said, he's a jerk. I went to his yesterday and told him. He was all angry and mad with me. He even said that he doesn't want me to have that baby. I told him, that I'll have anyway and then he said that he doesn't want to be involved with anything.

Phoebe: (shocked) What? What a *****

Rachel: (again shoots Ross a look) Yeah, I wanted to kick his ass, but.. (Ross interrups her)

Ross: Stop it, Rach. (She talks further)

Rachel: I wanted to punch him (again, Ross interrups her)

Ross: (louder) I said, stop it!! (everyone glances at him, Emily looks confused) There's something really important I have to tell you. (Rachel's mouth drops) (Ross takes a deep breath) I...I am the father of Rachel's baby. (they all stare at him in disbelief and then, after a while of complet silence, Emily bursts out laughing and so do the others except for Rachel and Ross, who glare at each other.

Emily: (while laughing really hard) That was a good one!

Monica: (also laughing) I didn't see that one coming!

After a while of laughing hard, they realize how serious Ross and Rachel look after all and they immediately stop laughing. Now, everyone's eyes are on Ross and they all are scared of what may happen...

Emily: (in disbelief) Honey, what's going on? You made a joke, right?

Ross looks at her guilty

Emily: (getting teary eyed) you.....you made a joke.....say it!

Ross: (staring at the table) no.

Emily: (getting upset and packs his arm roughly) Say it! You made a joke!

Ross: (avoiding eye-contact with her) Honey, it's true. I am the father of Rachel's baby.

Emily: (tears are rolling down her cheeks) Don't you ever, EVER call me honey again! (she gets up) Our marriage is over! (She runs out of the apartment)

There's an awkward silence in the room. No one dares to say something or even move. Now Rachel looks guilty at Ross, who's still staring at the table. His eyes water and he quickly wipes away the tears which started to roll slwoly down his cheeks.
After a long time of silence, Monica askes the question everyone wanted to know the most.

Monica: (shyly) How did this happen?

Rachel and Ross now both filled with embarrassment just sit there without saying a word. Then Rachel gets up and leaves the room.

Monica: (questionly) Ross?

Ross finally tells them the whole story. The others are all totally surprised and shocked about what was going on behind their backs. Then Phoebe lets slip out another "secret"

Phoebe: That must have been really hard for Rachel.

Ross: (surprised) What? Why?

Phoebe: (realizing what she just said) uh, oh not important.

Ross: Phoebe please tell me, I have to know.

Phoebe: (bits her bottom lip) I can't. It's too personal)

Ross: Pheebs please!

Phoebe: Okay...you remember Rachel coming to London

Ross: to congratulate me, yes I do

Phoebe: Well, that wasn't actually what she really wanted to say to you.

Ross: (confused) huh?

Phoebe: (hesitates) she....she came to London to tell you, that...that.....oh my god, what am I doing here...

Ross: (nervous) that what? Tell me!

Phoebe: That she still was in love with you...

Ross feels like falling down in a dark black hole. He couldn't believe what Phoebe just said. He now fully realizes how much pain he caused her. She was always there for him and he...he just wanted to sleep with her. He must have been blind. Rachel still loves him. Now everything makes sense!

Ross: Oh my god, I have to lie down.

We see Rachel lying in her bed, hugging a teddy and staring at the wall. The she turns on her back to face the ceiling. She begins to cry softly...

Ross is standing in front of the window in his apartment. Behind him wee se a hurt and angry Emily packing her stuff into boxes. It's raining outside and Ross keeps looking out of the window while Emily yells at him.

Rachel, Phoebe and Monica are shopping and have a lot of fun. They laugh a lot and Rachel seems to be happy.

FLASHBACK: Rachel and Ross after one of their nights. We see Ross in Rachel's room. He's fully dressed and smiles brightly while he leaves the room and a still sleeping Rachel.

And cause me so much pain, just when I think I've taken more than would a fool, I start fallin' back in love with you

FLASHBACK again: We see Rachel and Ross dancing to Bryan Adam's 'heave'. It's the night before they started their affair.

We see Ross sitting at the table in his apartment. He's looking at the wedding picture which includes also his friends, his parents and of course Rachel.

FLASHBACK to London: Rachel rushes into the church to find Ross and Emily kissing. Then Ross sees her and they hug and we see Rachel's almost crying.

Ross opens the door to his apt. to find a letter on the floor. He opens it and finds a sonogram picture in it. He closes his eyes and holds the picture. Then he rushes out, slamming the door.

Song fades out

Ross comes up the stairs to R&M's apt. and opens the door to find Richel sitting at the table. But as soons as she sees him, she takes her stuff and leaves to her room.

Ross: Rach, wait!

Rachel: (not facing him) I don't want to talk to you.

Ross: Phoebe told me.

Rachel: (freezes) She told you what?

Ross: ...that you still love me.

Rachel: (slowly turns around) no Ross, loveD

Ross: Why the hell didn't you tell me.

Rachel: I don't want to talk about that. That's past. You hurted me, you used me and I'll never ever forgive you for what you did and expected me to do.

Ross: Rach, I know....the thing with the baby is unforgivable...but our affair, Rach, I thought you were okay with that!

Rachel just looks at him

Ross: Okay. But hey, since everyone knows now that I'm the father, we don't have to make a secret out of it anymore. I'll be here for you and the baby. (smiles)

Rachel: (coldly) Forget that Ross. I'll raise the baby alone. I got a job offer in Boston and I'll take it.

Ross: (shocked) What?

Rachel: I'm moving to Boston.

Ross: no Rach, you can't do that. I'm the father of the baby. You can't take this child away from me, from the father.

Rachel: (coldly again) Yes I can. You can visit us as much as you want. But I'll raise this baby alone! End of discussion.

Ross: (hurt) Why are you doing this to me?

Rachel: You know what, I-want-to-be-the-daddy-boy. I asked you the exact same question a few weeks ago.

Ross: (near tears) but Rach, I need you.

Rachel: yeah....for what? (sarcastic) sex?

Ross: (hurt) This is not the Rachel I know...

Rachel: (teary eyedI yeah well, maybe she's there where the Ross I know is...

He looks down and she goes into her room and closes the door. She falls on the bed and starts sobbing while Ross turns and leaves the apartment.

The other day at C&J's. The guys are there and a miserable looking Ross is sitting on a seat.

Ross: What am I gonna do now?

Chandler: Tell her how you feel about her!

Ross: I don't know how I feel about her!

Joey: Tell her that you love her!

Ross: But I don't love her....I guess.

Chandler: well then, I don't know either.

Ross: I don't want her to leave and take the baby with her. -pause- By the way, when is she leaving?

Joey: A week from now.

Ross: (shocked) WHAT? No that can't be!! I'm gonna lose her!

Switch to the girls apartment where Phoebe, Monica and Rachel talk.

Phoebe: So you really wanna do that?

Rachel: positive.

-silence-

Monica: Aww, we're gonna miss you so much! (hugs her)

Phoebe: What about Ross?

Rachel: What about him? He hurted me too much, I may forgive him one day, but I'll never forget what he did.

Phoebe: But do you think this is the best way?

Rachel: Yes it is. Hey, I got a great job offer in a great city. I'll have a baby which I'm gonna raise ALONE and plenty of other stuff to do.

Monica: He'll miss you so much.

Rachel: (coldly) I don't care. He can visit us...

Scene fades out
 

A week passed. It's the day Rachel leaves. We're at the airport in the waiting hall. Everyone's there.

Phoebe: God Rach, I'm gonna miss you.

Rachel: (teary eyed) me too (they hug)

Joey: What can I say?

Rachel: aw Joey (they hug)

Chandler: Rach, have a great time and call us!!

Rachel: I will (hugs him)

Monica: (teary eyed) Rach, god I can't believe you're leaving!

Rachel: Aw Monica, I'm gonna miss you so much. (they both start crying while hugging each other)

Rachel then breaks the hug and wipes the tears away. She knows that the hardest moment follows now. She slowly turns to Ross, who looks miserable and sad. The others leave to give them some time alone. They both don't know what to say but finally Ross clears his throat.

Ross: Rach, this is so hard. I want you to stay here, here with me. You, ...and our baby. (he can barely  speak but Rachel just stancs there emotionless) God, I know I was a jerk. What I did was horrible but you have to understand. I was married....Now I'm not...anymore. (his voice cracks) Please Rach, don't go..I need you, I really do (his eyes are filled with tears) I want to make up for what I did to you. Give me a chance... I swear, I never ever wanted to hurt you, ever! And I'm so sorry for everything. (now tears are rolling down his cheeks)

Rachel: (teary eyed but coldly) I can't

She quickly kisses him on the cheek and then takes her bag and walks away.

Ross: (loudly) Rach!

Rachel stops and turns around slowly.

Ross: (slowver, with tears in his eyes) I love you...

Rachel looks at him for a while but then turns and walks through the corridor. Ross slowly walks towards the big window to watch the planes taking off and landing. he leans against the cold glass and softly begins to cry. He lost everything. Everything. It  took him too long to finally realize that he still loves her, more than anything in the world. And now she walked through that corridor, where on the other end a new life starts for her. A life without him.
Tears are streaming down his face while he stands there. He stood there for a long time to watch the take off of the plane to Boston. Then he wipes away the tears and takes a deep breath. He turns around to find an also crying Rachel right in front of him. He can't believe his eyes. Is he dreaming? What is she doing here?

Ross: Rach?

Rachel: (still crying) Ross,...I love you, too...

He was overjoyed by hearing those words. Slowly he moves towards her but stops as he almost reached her. She then makes her way to him and stops right in front of Ross. They look in eacht others eyes, which are red from crying. He softly takes her face into his hands and kisses her with all passion and love. Then he slowly breaks it but their heads are still close.

Ross: (whispering) I thought I'd lost you.

Rachel: (whispering too) ...and I realized that I can't live without you. I still love you although you hurted me really bad. Don't you ever do that again.

Ross: Never, I swear it by my heart! I love you Rachel Karen Green.

Rachel: and I love you Ross Gellar.

They again share a soft kiss and then hug each other thight. Behind them we see the 4 friends smiling and cheering.
