Scene : C & M's. Chandler, Monica, Phoebe and Joey are sitting around the table, talking.

Monica: Honey, where are our honeymoon pictures?

Chandler: Oh sorry, darling, I don't have them yet but I'll get them tomorrow. (kisses her)

Monica: Hey, what about a picture evening tomorrow? Say 6 p.m. here and I'll make dinner.

Phoebe/Joey: Sounds good/ I'll be there.

Ross enters smiling all over his face.

Chan/Mon/Phoe/Joey: Hey Ross

Ross: Hey you guys.

Joey: What's up man, why are you smiling like this?

Ross: I'm just happy!

Phoebe: Okay, but what about?

Ross: ...uhm...nothing

Monica: Oh c'mon, tell us!

Ross: Okay, I've a date tonight. Isn't that great?

Joey: And who's the lucky one?

Monica: Yeah, tell us, who's it?

Ross: You know that hot woman from your wedding?

Joey: Mona?

Ross: Jup! That's her. I'm having dinner with her tonight and I'm so excited about that!!

Phoebe: Where do you take her?

Ross: I won't tell ya! (starts to leave)

Monica:  Oh Ross, tomorrow evening we're gonna have a picture evening here and I'm making dinner. You're coming?

Ross: Sure...uhm...can I bring Mona, too?

Monica: Yeah, of course.

Ross: Okay, see ya. Bye (leaves)

Phoebe: Wow, there's one happy! (smiles)

Chandler: Did you see that? I haven't saw him that happy since....since....since a long time!

Joey/Phoebe/Monica: Yeah, you're right!

Rachel enters obviously angry and pissed.

Rachel: Urgh....I hate my job...no wait..I love my job but I hate the people there!

Monica: Hey, calm down sweetie, that's isn't good for your baby!

Rachel:  Yeah, you're right....but you know, there are people out there.....aww (paces around)

Chandler: I know! (everybody looks at him)

Rachel: You know what, I don't want to talk about it! Let's do something!

Joey: Good idea, how about sitting here and talking (Chandler glares at him)

Chandler: Oh that's a good idea. (fake smile)

Monica: No seriously, how about going to the cinema!

Rach/Phoebe: Sounds good!

Chandler: Yeah.

Joey: Which movie?

Rachel: Doesn't care (smiles) yay, an evening with all six of us! That' ll be fun. I'll go and call Ross. (starts to leave)

Monica: Oh, he won't come! (Rachel turns around and looks a bit disappointed)

Rachel: uhm...why?

Joey:  Well...he's on a date. (everybody looks at her)

Rachel: What? I'm okay! I don't care!

Chandler: Okay, then let's go in (looks at his watch) about 3 hours.

All: Yeah okay

Scene : Chandler & Monica, Phoebe, Joey and Rachel are standing outside the building ready to go.

Phoebe: Let's go girls and boys, otherwise we'll miss the beginning!

Joey: Hurry up guys.

Chandler and Monica are kissing and not paying much attention

Joey: Hey you lovebirds!

Monica: What? (realizing) Oh yeah, let's go. Otherwise we'll miss the beginning.

Phoebe: (stares at her) duhuuu! Thank you!

Rachel starts to walk and sees Ross with Mona walking into his building. She quickly looks away so the others will not notice.

Rachel: So, which movie are we going to watch?

Joey: Surprise, surprise!!

Everyone walks down the street and scene fades out.
 
 

Scene : M & C's. The door opens and everyone except for Ross walks in.

Monica: God, that movie sucked!

Rachel: I've never seen such a bad movie! Even dinosaur movies are better! (Everybody glares at her) Okay, they suck, too!

Phoebe: Joey, you've got an awfull taste concerning movies!

Joey: (smiles) Thank you!

Chandler: Can somebody tell  me what it was about?

Rachel: I better slept, too! You didn't miss anything.

Chandler: Okay then (smiles).

Rachel: I'm going to bed. Joey? You're coming?

Joey: Yeah, bye guys.

Monica: Oh Rachel, I almost forgot to tell you that tomorrow evening we'll have a picture evening here and I'll make dinner. You have to come,too!!

Rachel: Sure, I will. But I won't make it for dinner. There's so much work to do.

Monica: Whenever you've got time!

Scene : M & C's. Everyone's there except for Rachel. Mona's there, too. They already had dinner.

Monica: Here we go with the pictures! Hon, give them to me!

Chandler: No! (Monica glares at him) Hokey! (kisses her and gives her the pictures)

Mona: Monica, dinner was delicious! I haven't eat so much since your wedding!

Ross: What about yesterday?

Mona: (smiles at him) I really liked the dessert (kisses him quickly)

Rachel enters.

Monica: Rach, hun! How was your day?

Rachel: Oh please, don't ask! (obviously pissed)

Monica: Okay, I'm glad you make it. Let's look at the pix!

Rachel: (now smiling) yeah, let's do that.

Ross comes to her.

Ross: Hi Rach! How's my baby doing?

Rachel: (sarcastic) Well, ask it!

Ross: Hey, what's with you? Bad day at work?

Rachel: Yeah, sorry....

Ross: Okay listen, I'd like to introduce you Mona. (Mona comes to her and they shake hands)

Mona: Hi. Nice to meet you.

Rachel: Same here! (fake smile) Let's see the pictures.

Mona looks a bit confused. They all sit down and start looking at the pictures.

Time lapses

We see Rachel laughing hysterical and everybody looks at her. Ross seems very angry and the others just look ashamed. Mona looks a bit hurt and confused.

Ross: (angry voice) Rach. Rach, please come with me, I have to talk to you...now! (grabs her arm) Rach, c'mon.

Rachel: (still laughing) outch Ross, you're hurting me!

Ross takes her into her old room and closes the door.

Inside the room

Ross: (really angry) Rach, what are you doing here! How dare you say such things to her! You're hurting her feelings and you know that. I don't know what's going on with you! You're hormones?! No Rach, listen, I have no idea what you're trying to do here but you're acting like....like...god Rach! I never thought you would do or say such things!

Rachel: (now calm) You know what. I better go now.

She leaves the room and the apartment. The others look at her and then at Ross who also left the room and is now standing in front of the door.

Joey: What was that?

Ross: Ask her!

Joey: I will (leaves, too)

Monica: Wow, what's going on here?

Ross: Mona, c'mon we go, too. I'm sorry for what happend. I'm sure Rachel didn't mean what she said.

They leave

Monica: Hey, that was supposed to be a nice and amusing evening!

Phoebe: I think someone's jealous.

Chandler: No, I don't think so. She just had a bad day at work.

Monica: Yeah, she was really pissed.

Scene : C & M's next morning. Chandler and Monica are having breakfast. Rachel enters.

Rachel: Oh my god, what have I done? He'll hate me!

Monica: No, he won't hate you, but you really disappointed him and you hurt her feelings.

Rachel: I know I know

Chandler: I think it's normal when you love someone.

Rachel: What? I do not love Ross! I was pissed because of work. That's it!

Monica: You're sure?

Rachel: Positive.

Monica: Whatever

Rachel:I have to go to Ross and apologize for what I did.

Monica: Yeah, you should.

Rachel: Wish me luck! Bye (she leaves)

Ross apt. outside in the hallway. Rachel's coming up the stairs but stops when she sees Ross and Mona kissing passionately in front of his door. Rachel freezes and looks incredible hurt, turns around and slowly walks away. Ross doesn't notice.

Scene : Back at C & M's. It's still morning. Chandler already left for work and Monica is drinking coffee while reading the newspaper. Rachel rushes in crying.

Monica: Oh my god, sweetie, what happened?

Rachel: You were right!

Monica: (doesn't get it) huh? Right, with what?

Rachel: I do still love him!

Monica: (not very surprised) How do you found out?

Rachel: I saw him...kissing...that....that .....Mona and it hurt  so much to see him kissing her.

Monica: I'm so sorry! What are you going to do now?

Rachel: (sobs) Nothing.

Monica: Nothing? Don't you think you have to tell him?

Rachel: No I don't. You know, I always mess up his relationships, there was Julie, Bonnie, Emily...I have no right to do that. He's happy and I have to accept that.....but it hurts so bad (cries softly)

Monica: Yeah, I know (hugs her) Aww, you are gonna be allright

2 weeks later. Mona and Ross are still dating and it seems to be serious. Rachel works as much as she can to forget about Ross and Monica's very uncomfortable with the whole situation even though she's the only one who know's about Rachel's feelings.

Scene : Ross apt. There's a knock at the door and Ross opens it.

Ross: Hey Mon, How're you doing?

Monica: I'm fine. Can I talk to you for a sec?

Ross: Sure, come in. (he looks very happy)

Monica: How're you?

Ross: I feel great. I feel like I'm in heaven, you've no idea. I never felt this way since Rachel and I broke up and now, seems my life is going to have sense again.

Monica: So you're in love (gets more and more uncomfortable)

Ross: Oh yeah. I really do love her.

Monica: What about Rachel?

Ross: What? What's with her?

Monica: You don't have any feelings for her anymore?

Ross: No, absolutely not. This time I'm over her. For sure!

Monica: (pretends to be happy) So then, I'm happy for you.

Ross: (smiles) Hey, Why're you here?

Monica: Uhm....not that important. I have to go. Bye (leaves)

Outside the apartment

Monica thinks: Oh my god, how do I gonna tell her? Should I tell her? God, I feel like crying.

Scene : Rachel's sitting on the couch when Monica enters.

Monica: (surprised) Hey Rach, why are you already home?

Rachel: I didn't feel very well....

Monica: Why? What is it?

Rachel: I've got stomach-ache.

Monica:(worried) But not because of the baby?

Rachel: No no, the baby's fine....I think. Where were you?

Monica: (uncomfortable) nowhere

Rachel: You were at Ross's (pause)

Monica: uhu...

Rachel: Oh god, you didn't tell him, did you?

Monica: No, of course not.

Rachel: Tell me the truth.

Monica: You don't want to know...

Rachel: I do, please tell me.

Monica: He told me, that...

Rachel: that what?....

Monica: That he's in love with Mona (pause) He loves Mona and...

Rachel: (a bit hurt) and?

Monica: and he doesn't have any feelings for you anymore. (pause, Rachel looks very hurt and a bit shocked) he's over you...

Rachel: uhu...

Monica: He's moving on and you should, too!

Rachel: I know (sobs) god I know but it's so hard, you know. It's now more than 4 years since we broke up but I'm still not over him! How can that be?

Monica: Awww sweetie (hugs her tight)

Rachel: Ouch! (Monica immediately breaks the hug)

Monica: (worried) What?

Rachel: uhm...nothing....just my stomach...

Monica: You should maybe go to a doctor

Rachel: No no...it's not that bad (walks out)

Monica: Poor Rach....

Scene: A week later. Ross's apt. Mona and Ross are on his bed cuddling.

Ross: Now I really do have to go...(not really wanting to)

Mona: Oh no, please not (kisses him passionately)

Ross: mmmmh, maybe I can stay a few minutes more...

Mona: I hate it when we have to part us.

Ross: Yeah, me too (pause)

Mona: (starts to smile) Honey...(looks deep into his eyes)

Ross: Yeah?

Mona: What about...what do you think us living together?

Ross: What do you mean?

Mona: Me moving in with you

Ross: You mean here?

Mona: Yeah, what do you think?

Ross: (not that happy) I don't know.  (pause) Anyway, I have to go now.

Mona: But think about it and tell me tonight.

Ross: I will think about it. Bye (kisses her and leaves)

C&M's: Monica & Rachel are sitting at the table.

Monica: We're you at the doctors?

Rachel: No. Why?

Monica: Rachel! I mean your stomach ache, maybe it's serious.

Rachel: oh that. I already said it's not that bad.

Monica: What if something is wrong with the baby?

Rachel: Calm down, Mon...

Monica: Anyway, how're you doing? I mean, how're things with you and Ross?

Rachel: Oh, since I worked so much, I barely saw him last week. I guess he was busy with his Mona..

Monica: I'm sorry..

Rachel: Oh, you don't have to, I'm okay!

Ross enters

Ross: Hey girls, how're ya doing?

Monica: Good, you?

Ross: Kinda confused, but I'll talk to you later. Mona will be here in a minute (Mona enters) Hey sweetie!

Mona: Hey honey (Rachel stands up but feels dizzy) So what do you say?...you know...about the moving in with..

In this moment Rachel collapses and falls on the floor.

Monica: oh my god Rachel (runs to her)

Ross: (turns his head and sees Rachel lying there) Oh god, Rachel (runs to her)

Monica: (worried) She's unconscious!

Ross: I call the ambulance.

Monica: Rachel? Rach?

After Ross called the ambulance, he goes back to Rachel and Monica. During that, Mona just stands there, not knowing what to do.

Monica: The baby...I'm worried because of the baby!

Ross: God Rachel, what happened to you..

Mona: Rachel's pregnant?

Ross: (looks guilty) Honey, I'll tell you later. Can you get me a towel and water, please?

Mona: Sure (runs into the bathroom)

Monica: You haven't told her yet?

Ross: There wasn't a good moment to tell her.

Monica: God Ross, you don't need a "good" moment for telling her that you're gonna have a baby!

Mona: (comes up from behind, looks shocked) What? Ross? You're the father?

Ross: Sweetie, I'll explain you..

Mona: No, you don't have to (obviously angry) I better go (leaves in a rush)

In the hospital: Everyone's there. Ross' pacing round. The others are sitting and Monica and Chandler are holding hands looking worried.

Ross: What if the baby got hurt, or worse...what if she lost the baby? I mean....(almost crying)

Phoebe: Ross; calm down. We can't do anything right now but praying that the baby will be okay and that Rachel's fine.

A Doctor comes up. He goes to Ross and they talk for a few minutes. Then the doc leaves and Ross comes back to the group.

Joey: What did he say? How's Rachel?

Monica: What about the baby?

Ross: Rachel's still unconscious but okay so far, and.....the baby....she didn't lose it but there are a few complications.....(gets teary eyed) There's a 50% chance that  the baby will make it.    ....I'm so scared....I don't know what to do.....(pause) They'll keep Rachel here for some days to make some tests..

Monica: Can we go and see her?

Ross: Yeah, but only a few minutes. She has to rest.

Scene changes
 
 

Rachels hospital room. They're all in there and Rachels lying there, unconscious.

Ross: The doctor said, she'll wake up soon, hopefully...

Phoebe: She looks so pale and weak.

Monica: This all wouldn't have happened if I had took her to the hospital when she complained about her stomach- ache.

Ross: She had stomach-ache? When?

Monica: Since a week, I guess..

Ross: (guilty) God, and I wasn't there for her. I didn't even talked to her last week. She kinda avoided me...(not knowing why)

Chandler: Ross, stop blaming yourself for not being there for her. That doesn't help her right now. She needs you, now.

Ross: Yeah, yeah I know. God, I'm so scared because of the baby. What if she loses it? I couldn't handle it!

Joey: She won't lose it: She won't .... Stop talking like this.

Later: Rachel's hospital room. Ross is sitting beside her bed, holding her hand. He's alone. Mona enters.

Mona: (low voice) hey honey.

Ross: (turns around and smiles weakly) Hey (kisses her)

Mona: How's she doing?

Ross: She's okay but still unconscious but....the baby..

Mona: Oh my god. She lost it?

Ross: No no (looks sad) They have to keep her here for some tests because of the baby. There are some complications but they won't say me anything.

Mona: I'm so sorry ( hugs him) For everything...I shouldn't have react like this and I'm sorry for that. I was just shocked and disappointed that you didn't tell me.

Ross: I'm sorry. I should have talked to you.

Mona: yeah, but you know what. let's forget about that. I love you...

We see Rachel, looking at them with a sad expression on her face. Firstly Mona and Ross didn't notice that Rachel's awake but then Ross turns round and sees her
looking at him.

Ross: Rach? Thank god, you're awake. How are you feeling?

Rachel: huh? Where am I?

Ross: You collapsed and now you're in the hospital.

Rachel: Oh my god! How's my baby? (looks very worried)

Ross: Everything's okay but you need some rest.

Rachel: When can I leave the hospital? I hate hospitals.

Ross: uhm (not sure what to say) They didn't say anything.

He looks a bit guilty because he didn't say the truth about the baby. Mona looks at him. The situation's awkward.

Mona: Let's go Ross. Rachel needs rest.

Ross: Yeah, yeah you're right. (kisses Rachel on the cheek)

They leave and Rachel starts to get teary eyed and touches her cheek where Ross kissed her.

Ross apt. Mona and Ross enter.

Mona: So, did you think about my idea, you know, the moving in...

Ross: No sorry, I don't think that's so important right now.

Mona: (disappointed and a bit angry) What? Not important?

Ross: no sorry, I didn't mean it that way. I mean, Rachel's in the hospital and there's only a 50% chance that my baby will make it (almost crying) I really have other problems at the moment.

Mona: (calms down) I'm sorry, I know. (hugs him)

Ross: (breaks the hug) No you don't....you can't. Please go, I have to be alone right now.

Mona: Okay, I'll call you.

Ross: No don't (pause) I will when I'm ready, okay?

Mona: yeah sure (a bit disappointed)

Mona leaves and Ross sits at his desk by the window. *I won't hold you back* by Toto starts playing and a flashback starts.

~~Rachel and Ross are arguing in an empty Central Perk. Ross leaves and Rachel stands there and starts to cry a bit. Ross comes back and after she managed to
open the door, they kiss passionately~~

~~At the beach outside the house. Ross asks Rachel if she still loves him then he kisses her softly then breaks it. Once again they kiss but more passionate~~

~~In London, Ross' wedding day. He hugs and kisses Emily and then turns around to see an almost crying Rachel. He goes to her and hugs her tight~~

~~In Central Perk. Ross' reading the newspaper and then Rachel tells him, that she still loves him. He looks shocked.~~

Still Ross apt. There's a knock at the door and Ross immediately gets up and opens the door.

Ross: uh, hi Chandler.

Chandler: hey buddy, what's up man..

Ross: god my life is a mess! (sit back down)

Chandler: hey, everything will be okay, you'll see.

Ross: yeah, hopefully. (pause) you know, I just realized that I'm over Rachel.

Chandler: I thought you already knew that. How?

Ross: I had this flashback with all this moments...(tells him about this moments)

Chandler: Ross, you know what. you didn't realized that you're over Rachel, you realized that you still love her!

Ross looks puzzled and gets up and walks to the window.
No way was he still in love with her. It had been more than 4 years and he'd moved on as she's too. The night they had a few months ago was a one time thing, although they'll be parents soon.
He goes back to the couch and sits down, the words of the doctor in his mind. What if they'll lose the baby? There's only a 50% chance.....

Ross: Chandler? Do you mind leaving me alone, please. There's so much in my head right now.

Chandler: Sure, and call me if you need somebody to talk.

Ross: Yeah, thanks man.

Chandler walkes out of the apartment and Ross lies down on his couch. Soon after he falls asleep

 ~~ in the hospital

Ross runs out of a room and towards his friends

Ross: (out loud and totally happy) It's a girl!! I have a daughter!!

Everybody jumps up and cheere. They all hug and then Ross starts to leave.

Ross: (smiling brightly) Sorry guys, but I've to go and see how my girls are doing.

Joey: Lucky man he is!!

Monica: I'm so happy for you.

Ross turnes around and walks into the room. We see Rachel looking pale and tired but happy. There are also two nurses walking around and talking. One nurse comes up and asks Ross:

Nurse: Mr. Gellar. Would you like to hold your daughter? Mrs Green wanted you to hold her first.

Ross smiles even more and looks sweetly at Rachel who's smiling back.

Ross: Yeah, I'd love to.

The nurse walks away and a few seconds later she comes back with a tiny little baby in her arms.

Nurse: Here she is (she gives her to Ross)

Ross: (takes her carefully) Oh my god (smiles and gets teary eyed) She's soo beautiful. Just like you, Rach. (the nurses both left) look how little she is.

The baby starts to cry a bit and then grabs Ross's finger as he's stroking her arm to calm her down. She stops crying and he can't hold back the tears of joy and they slowly run down his cheeks.

Ross: (touched) she's holding my finger. ( he looks at Rachel, who's teary eyed, too) (looks back at the baby) Hi you, I'm your daddy. (looks at Rachel again) We still don't have a name for her.

Rachel: Pick one, I'm sure I'll love it.

Ross: (looks back at the baby. She fell asleep) Jasmine

Rachel: (smiles) See, I told you I'll love it!

Ross slowly goes toward Rachel's bed and sits down on a chair beside her. He gives Jasmine to Rachel and then looks at both.

Ross: Thank you, Rachel. (she smiles at him)

He then slowly leans in and kisses her softly ~~

The phone rings and Ross almost falls out of the couch. He rubs his eyes and looks at the clock. It shows 2 in the morning. He gets worried and slowly picks up the phone while his heart beats fast. Ross's worried look on his face turns into shock. After a few minutes, he lays the phone back, takes his coat and rushes out of his apartment.

In the hospital: Ross runs in and suddenly stops, finding himself standing in an empty corridor with no light and it's totally silent. Then a nurse comes up and goes to him and softly touches his arm.

Ross: (worried and scared) Where's she? Is she okay?

Nurse: She's in the surgery right now. We couldn't wait any longer.

Ross: What are they doing?

Nurse: Saving Mrs Green's live.

Ross: Oh my god. -pause- And ....and what is with the baby? (deep inside he knew the answer but doesn't want to believe it.)

Nurse: I'm afraid sir, but she won't make it. She has one hour...

Ross: (fights against the tears) What does that mean, she has one hour?

Nurse: She's in an incubator right now. You can see her if you want.

Ross: she? I've a daughter, huh? (tears start to roll down his cheeks)

Nurse: (smiles weakly) yes.

Ross: Is there no chance that she'll make it?

Nurse: No sir, I'm afraid. She's too weak.

Ross: (takes a deep breath) Can....can I see her?

Nurse: Sure, follow me.

Ross wipes away his tears and follows the nurse. They go in a room where we see about ten incubators. The nurse leads Ross to the one in the edge and then turns around to face him.

Nurse: (slow, almost whispering) I know it's hard and heartbreaking but it will help you to let her go and it will also help her to go. Touch her, stroke her, talk to her, make her feel that her daddy's here. I just take away all the tubes and then I'll leave you two alone.

The nurse turns on a light and quickly takes away all the tubes around the incubator and the baby and then steps away so Ross can see her. He looks at the tiny little baby, who's an inch bigger than his hand. She lies there without moving or crying. He swallows and takes a deep breath.

Nurse: Mr Gellar, if you want, you can lie down on this bed there (points to a bed beside the incubator) and I'll give her to you. I'll lay her on your chest so you can feel her and it will also be good for her to feel you.

Ross: (totally shaken) I.....I.....uh....

Nurse: You can't do anything wrong, don't worry.

Ross: (hesitates) okay, then...

Nurse: Take off your shirt so you can really feel her. Lie down and relax.

Ross: (does so and takes a deep breath again) Will Rachel make it?

Nurse: Yes, Mrs. Green will be fine. (the nurse comes to Ross with the little baby in her hand) Here, take her (lays her on Ross's chest and covers her with a blanket) Mr. Gellar, take all the time you and your daughter need. And if you need me, just press the button over there. (she leaves)

Camera stays with Ross. He has one hand on her back and with the other hand he softly strokes her head. He looks down at her and smiles weakly while tears are rolling down his cheek again.

Ross: (he can barely speak) Hi........I'm your daddy..... I love you, you know?.....and Mommy loves you, too.....very much. She can't be here right now, though, 'cause she has to fight herself......See, I can't lose both of you....but I know you'll live on... (smiles weakly).....You'll live on as my little shining star....and every night when it's dark and the sky's bright, I'll see you again....- pause- god, why's your heart beating so fast?...Calm down, sweetie......everything's allright....Daddy's here...(tears are streaming down his face as he softly begins to sing)

Ross: (stops and cries) Baby, I love you...

Camera zooms out and we see him still lying on the bed with the baby on his chest. He kisses the top of her head while crying hardly. Camera fades to the window and out of it into the sky, where we can see many stars shining brightly.

Scene fades out
 

Scene: Hours later, in the morning. There's a soft instrumental melody playing in the background. We're in Rachel's room and see her lying on the side, looking out of the window. Her face is covered with tears but she doesn't cry. She looks very pale and weak. Then, the door opens and Ross steps in. He looks miserable and his eyes are red from crying. He sits on the other side of her bed and says something. He looks down then up again. Rachel  slowly turns around and sits up. They stare at each other and then they hug and cry uncontrollable. Ross strokes her hair and she buries her face in his chest. Outside the room we see Chandler looking sad and holding an also crying Monica while Joey hugs Phoebe from behind, both teary eyed.

Two weeks passed by. We're at C&M's. Everyone's there except for Ross and Rachel. They all sit at the table.

Joey: I haven't talked to her the last few days. I barely see her. She only comes out of her room to go to the toilet or to get something to drink. She doesn't even eat. I'm really worried.

Monica: I tried to talk to her yesterday but it was useless. She doesn't talk to anybody, not even to me and she's crying all the time!! I want to help her, take the pain and sorrow away....why can't I do that? (she's almost crying by now)

Chandler: Sweetie, she has to go through this hard time alone.

Monica: I know

Phoebe: How's Ross doing?

Chandler: He's a wreck. He won't talk to me either, barely eats, he even broke up with Mona. I don't know what to do.

Phoebe: I guess, the only one who can talk to Rachel is Ross himself and vice versa.

Scene fades out
 

It's now a month since the death of the baby. We're at C&M's. Monica's drinking a cup of coffee as Joey walks in.

Monica: Hey Joe

Joey: Rachel finally talks!

Monica: (looks at him) What did she say?

Joey: That she wants to talk to you.

Monica: (smiles weakly) Okay (gets up)

Joey: I'll leave you two alone. There's someone waiting for me.

Monica: Okay, bye...

R&J's. Monica walks in to find an empty apartment.

Monica: Rach? Rachel, where are you?

Rachel: (out of her room) in here.

Monica goes into Rachel's room to find a very pale and skinny looking Rachel.

Monica: Oh my god, Rachel

Rachel: (starts to sob) Monica (they hug)

Monica: Honey, you look miserable

Rachel: I know....(they break the hug)

Monica: Rach, I'm so sorry. Is there anything I can do for you?

Rachel: Just be here and don't leave me alone.

Monica: I won't. Promise....How do you feel.

Rachel: physical better than psychical. I feel empty.....totally empty.....I don't know why I'm here...(sobbing) I can't believe I've lost her. She was everything I had of him!! Now I've nothing. Nothing! I've lost the man I love and even our child! What kind of a person am I? It's all my fault. (starts crying)

Cuts outside the room. We see Ross standing there shocked and teary eyed too. He turns and walks out of the apartment.

Inside Rachels room

Monica and Rachel are hugging again.

Monica: It's not your fault, sweetie. It's no ones fault!

Rachel: (crying) I miss her and I miss him! God Mon, I miss him so much!!

Monica: I know you do honey. Now come out of that room. I'll make you something to eat and then you go outside to take some fresh air, okay?

Rachel: Okay, thanks Mon

Monica: anytime

Scene fades out
 

In a garden where you can see lots of tombs. We zoom to a little tomb which is under a tree and surrounded by flowers.  ~~ Jasmine Gellar Green   *26 weeks*  May you rest in peace ~~   We hear footsteps and see Ross's coming up with a bunch of white lilies in his hand.

Ross: Hi sweetie, Daddy's here. I brought you flowers. (lays them down) Hope you like them. They're your mom's favorite. - pause- (gets teary eyed) I miss you so much

Tears are rolling down his face as someone comes up from behind and takes his hand and squeezes it. He didn't have to look who it is, he knew it. She was always there when he needed her the most, as if she could feel it.

Ross: (still looking at the tomb) You haven't seen her, but she was beautiful. Beautiful, just like you, Rach. (he turns around to face her. She smiles. The first time since that tragic day. He looked at her and then leans in and kisses her soflty on the lips. Then he breaks it and she hugs him tight as she hears him saying three little words. Three words she thought, she'd never hear again from him. He moved her to tears. She had one thing back, she'd thought she'd lost it.

Rachel: I love you, too. Ross, I love you so much! (she breaks the hug and kisses him again. Then they break it and smile at each other)

Ross: (softly) Rach, I promise, one day we'll have a big family.

Rachel: (kisses him passionately then breaks it) I'd love to.
