TOW The Sign
 

Okay, here's what happend: Mona finds the ring and sees that it is for Rachel. (if you haven't read the other parts you might not get the story).

Ross: Honey, what's up with you? Have you seen a ghost. (chuckles)

Mona: (angry, upset and now with tears in her eyes) You bastard!! How could you...

She throws the ring against him and he catches it, realizing now what's going on. Mona runs out of the apartment.

Ross: (shouts) Mona! Mona wait, it's not what you think.....
 

Here it continues:

Ross puts the ring into his pocket and then runs after her. They both pass by Rachel who's by now standing in the hall looking confused and extremly guilty but Ross and Mona just ignore her. Rachel quickly goes into the apartment where she finds the little black box lying on the floor.

Rachel: (sighs and says out loud) Oh noooo! What have I done...he'll kill me

She slowly goes to the couch and sits down. Then she takes the teddy out of her bag and hugs him.

Scene fades out
 

Scene: somewhere in a park. Mona comes running but gets slower and then starts walking. Behind her we see Ross also walking by now. All of sudden Mona stops and so does Ross (there's some space between them). She doesn't face him and looks down.

Ross: (out of breath) Mona please let me explain, it's not what you think it is..

Mona: (now turns around and looks at him) oh please, it's so obvious.

Ross: listen to me!

Mona: Ross

Ross: no, listen. I bought this year about five years ago (is it five years??) It was our first anniversary and I wanted to propose but instead of that, I slept with another woman and blew it off. I don't know why I kept the ring...and I don't know why it was on the table.

Mona: you cheated on Rachel?

Ross: (looks guilty) yeah, it was the worst thing I ever did...but I learned and you have to believe me, there's nothing between Rachel and me!

Mona: I can't believe you did something like this.

Ross: yeah well...

Mona: (calmer by now) Ross, I think things won't work between us although we had a great time...well, most of the time was great..

Ross: what are you saying? Mona, we can work things out!

Mona just looks at him and then down. Ross makes a step foreward but stops. She looks up at him again.

Mona: no Ross, I don't think we can. I love you but that's not enough...you have to love me, too

Ross: I DO love you (makes some steps again and is now standing right in front of her) I love you Mona.

Mona: (gets teary eyed) Ross, I have to ask you a question now and please, please be honest.

Ross looks deep into her eyes and she takes a deep breath.

Mona: If you'd have to decide which woman, who would you take, Rachel..or me..?

Ross: (gets teary eyed) why are you asking me that? I can't answer this.

Mona: Ross, please....be honest

Awkward silence. Mona gets now teary eyed, too knowing the answer.

Ross: I guess... no..... I know I would take Rachel.

Awkward silence again, Ross looks sorry for her and doesn't know what to say.

Mona: (tears are now rolling down her cheek) see, I knew...

Ross wipes away her tears and softly touches her cheeks.

Mona: we would waste our time...you would never love me like you love Rachel.

Ross: I guess that's true but Rachel you know...it didn't worked with us either.

Mona: you cheated on her, you can't imagine how much that hurts. She needed time. And now you're having a baby together. That's maybe a sign that you two are made for each other.

Ross: God Mona, you're such a great person and I love you. But you deserve a man who loves you as much as you love him and I guess, that isn't me. I'm sorry it has to end like this. I don't wanted this to happen, believe me.

Mona: Ross, you're a great person, too. I'll miss your dinosaur histories. (they both laugh and then hug)

Mona: (breaks the hug) I know why you kept the ring. You always loved her, as it is engraved....FOREVER

Ross: yeah, maybe....but I still don't know why it was on the table. I kept it in my drawer. -pause-

Mona: There's only one person who could have take it out.

Ross: Why sould she have done that?

Mona: Ross, it is the most beautiful ring I've ever seen and if I were Rachel (looks down but then up again) I would look at it all the time

Ross: (thinks)....she said, that she loved it but...

Mona: I guess this question is answered.

They both smile.

Mona: Okay, now go and make the woman happy that you always loved. (smiles)

Ross: Thank you so much for everything and I hope you'll find the man of your dreams. (he kisses her softly onto her lips and then breaks it and walks away)

Mona: Ross? (he turns around)

Ross: Yeah?

Mona: give her the ring... (he smiles sweetly at her and then leaves)

We see Mona alone standing in the park and then she turns around and walks away in the other direction.

Scene fades out
 

Scene: R&R's. We're in the hall and see Ross's coming up the stair with a huge smile on his face, having the ring in his fingers. He opens the door and gets a shocked face.

Ross: Oh my God Rachel!!

We see Rachel laying on the floor hugging the teddy and wincing in pain. He runs to her and sees her face's all wet.

Rachel: (weakly) Ross, you're here....I think I'm in labor and it hurts really bad. And my water already broke.

Ross: Okay, I'll bring you to the hospital.

Ross helps her up and takes her around the waist and leads her out of the door.

Scene fades out
 

Scene: We're in a hospital. Chandler, Monica, Phoebe and Joey are there waiting.

Monica: I'm going to be an aunt. again! (starts to cry)

Chandler: honey, you don't have to cry! (hugs her) what will you do when you're going to be a mother? Now you're crying and then?..

Joey: man, I'm hungry. I'm going to order a pizza

Chandler: dude, we're in a hospital

Joey: so?

Chandler: ah, forget it.

Phoebe: without meat please! (Chandler and Monica both stare at her)

Joey: no way, I'm going to order a joey special

Phoebe: whatever...

Monica: I can't stand this any longer. They're now in there for about an hour!

Chandler: sweety calm down, everything will be okay. (kisses her gently on the forehead)

Camera goes inside a room and we see Ross holding Rachels hand. There's also a doctor and a few nurses in the room. A soft song starts playing in the background and we can't hear anything but the song. We see Ross speaking to Rachel and how Rachel's pushing. Then she leans her head back almost crying and the doctor looks at her. Then Ross says something to her and kisses her sweetly on the forehead and she again starts pushing. All of sudden we see Ross getting teary eyed while watching to the doctors. He's holding a little tiny baby in his hands that is screaming. Rachel closes her eyes tired but happy and Ross just stands there smiling brightly. A few minutes later they hand him his daughter wraped in a towel and the song fades out.

Ross: (overjoyed, he can barely speak) hello you.....how are we doing (he can't hide his emotions and a tear is rolling down his cheek) you look so beautiful, just like your mother.

He softly kisses her forehead and then sees Rachel who's looking at them. She looks tired and weak but smiles happily.

Rachel: can I?

Ross: sure (he hands her their little daughter and then wipes away his tears)

Rachel: (also teary eyed) hello Gabriella....so you we're that, kicking me all the time (smiles at her) I love you, little baby Ruth (Ross smiles, too)

Ross: Rach, thank you for making me so happy.

Rachel: (laughs a bit) remember our night? and now see what we have. thank you (they share a moment and then look back a their daughter)

There's a knock at the door and Monica slowly opens it.

Monica: the doctor said we can come in. (the rest of the gang enters the room) now where's my little niece (goes over to the bed) awwwww (starts to cry again) she's so sweet. Can I hold her?

Rachel: yeah sure (gives her to Monica)

Monica: ohhh, I want a baby, too. God Rachel, she looks just like you!

Rachel: (blushes) You think? But she has Ross' hair and his hands.

Chandler: Wait wait, how can you say all that by now? We'll see in about ten years.

Monica: Sweety, look at her. You can so see that she's Rachel's and Ross' daughter.

Phoebe: (looks at her) yeah she definitely is.

Rachel and Ross both smile proudly.

Joey just  stands there holding a slice of pizza in his hand.

Rachel: Joey, from where do you got pizza?

Joey: what? Well I ordered one (every one stares at him and then they all start laughing)

Camera fades out
 

Scene: next morning. We're still in Rachels room. She's asleep but the little bed beside her is empty. Camera zooms out and we see Ross standing in front of the window holding his little daughter in his arms and rocking her.

Rachel slowly opens her eyes and smiles weakly as she sees Ross with the baby. She looks lovingly at him without him noticing. Then she looks down at her hands and gasps. She's wearing the ring, her ring, the ring that was supposed to be her engagmend ring. How could that be? Ross turned to her and smiles sweetly at her.

Ross: Morning, how do you feel?

Rachel: (still shocked) Ross. What's that (holding up her finger) Why am I wearing this?

Ross: I thought since you love it so much. And now you don't have to get the box out of my drawer every day.

Rachel: (glares at him embarrassed) how..

Ross: Monica told me

Rachel: oh........now that's embarrassing

Ross: why? I'm glad you love it so much.

Rachel: yeah but it's an engagmend ring.

Ross: (not facing her but looking at Gabriella who's grabing his finger) so?

Rachel: (confused) huh?

Ross: look, she's grabing my finger (smiles proudly at her, seeing that she's confused)

He slowly lays Gabriella back into her bed and sits beside Rachel onto her bed.

Ross: Rach, I know it's an engagmend ring and I want you to have it.

Rachel: (still confused) what does that mean?

Ross: (he takes her hand where she wears the ring) Rachel, Mona and I, we broke up and she kinda helped me realizing something. This baby, our daughter, Gabriella, she's maybe a sign that we should give it another shoot...listen, you know I love you since 9th grade. It's engraved in the ring, it's always been you Rach, and it will always be you, forever. I love you so much and now even more, since you gave me this little girl. (smiles and she smiles, too) I want to marry you and have a big family. Now it's up to you. Do you love me? Will you marry me?

Rachel: (now crying) Ross, yes I do love you and I will marry you. (they both hug)

We see Mona slowly entering the room when she sees Rachel and Ross hugging. She decides to go but Ross sees her.

Ross: Mona, hi.

Mona: Hey you two. How's your little girl doing?

Rachel: She's doing great so far, although she's sleeping most of the time (they laugh)

Mona: I just came by to say: congratulation. I wish three all the best.

Ross: Thanks. Thank you so much.

He stands up and hugs her while Rachel watches them. Jealous at the beginning she realizes that there's no reason to be. She looks at her ring and then at Gabriella who's by now sleeping peacfully. Was she ever that happy, she asked herself. Mona leaves and Ross comes back, sitting beside her again. They look deeply in each others eyes. Then Ross takes her face into his hands and kisses her passionately. After a while he softly breaks it and leans his forehead againts hers and they both have their eyes closed. They obviously enjoy the moment.

Ross: How much I missed that....

A month later

R&R's. Rachel enters the apartment with a bag full of magazines. Wedding magazines. She throws her keys onto the table and looks around.

Rachel: Ross? Ross where are you?

She starts looking for him everywhere and then goes into their bedroom where she finally finds him asleep. He lies there on his back with Gabriella on his chest, sleeping, too. They both looked so sweet. She decided to take a picture. We see how she's taking this picture and the picture fills the screen. As the camera fades out we see that it is framed. It stands on a night table beside an other picture. There we  see Ross and Rachel on their wedding day. Rachel's wearing a beautiful white wedding dress holding Gabriella. Ross wears a black suit (btw. he looks hot :) ) hugging them from behind and they're kissing.
