Noosa Head is a very busy resort based around the large river estuary.
This is the view down river towards Noosa Head, there are many trees in bloom as it's Spring down here.

We hired a small motor boat and went up river where we spotted a Sea Eagle. That afternoon we walked round the headland and came upon a small kangaroo grazing in the woods.
We saw lots of Banksia trees many of which were in bloom, we also found these ferns which produce a long tall spike of a flower (we still have to identify its name).
