Mike & Anne Thackway run a farmstay 20km south of Armidale and east of Uralla, NSW.

About 10 km from Cruickshanks is the Dangar Gorge where there are a number of walks to various vantage points overlooking the gorge. We walked for about two hours and on route saw a number of different species of kangaroo.
